Hello, happy Sunday to all. A few months ago, when my son came on vacation, he joined me in the process of capturing good pictures on a daily basis. With him I learned some functions of my cell phone camera that I didn't know, and I have been practicing with it in my daily experiences.

But there were some photos that I loved, and that he was able to capture from the roof of the house. Obviously it was easier for him to climb up because of his physical condition, hahaha, I can't do that, but I was left with the desire to get photos from that perspective. Definitely, I am contemplating to build a staircase that reaches to the kitchen's platform and be able to enjoy that panoramic view, because the rest of the roof is made of tiles.

In the midst of my restlessness, a few days ago I came up with the idea of rescuing a tall ladder I have at home from the wall. The rungs at the top were quite close to the edge of the roof, and that allowed me, without fully climbing it, to admire sunrises, sunsets, and the view from the heights. What a difference to the perspective that can be seen from below. There I sat for a while on the top step of the stairs, and I received a sunrise since the day dawned, when the sun began to point behind the foliage of the trees, and a wonderful spectacle that gave me that moment through the clouds, which resembled the tricolor of my flag.

I thought many times that they were edited photos, but no, there they were in front of my eyes the three stripes; yellow, blue and red. What a wonderful gift that perspective offered me. From the height I could admire the roofs, it was like another place that is not the same where I am. I still have the idea of building the staircase. I have the desire to capture more images from the height, and I will not rest until I achieve this project.

Hola, feliz lunes para todos. Hace unos meses, cuando mi hijo vino de vacaciones, se unió conmigo en el proceso de capturar a diario buenas fotografías. Con él aprendí algunas funciones de la cámara de mi celular que no conocía, y he ido practicando con ella en mis experiencias cotidianas.

Pero hubo unas fotos que me encantaron, y que él pudo capturar desde el techo de la casa. Obvio para él resultó más fácil subir por su condición física, jajaja, yo no llego a tanto, pero quedé con el deseo de lograr fotos desde esa perspectiva. Definitivamente, estoy contemplando mandar a construir una escalera que llegue a la platabanda de la cocina y poder disfrutar esa panorámica, porque el resto del techo es de tejas.

En medio de mi inquietud, se me ocurrió días atrás la idea de recostar de la pared, una escalera alta que tengo en casa. Los peldaños de arriba se acercaron bastante a la orilla del techo, y eso me permitió, sin subir totalmente a él, admirar amaneceres, atardeceres, y la vista desde las alturas. Que diferencia a la perspectiva que se puede visualizar desde abajo. Allí me senté un rato en el peldaño superior de la escalera, y recibí un amanecer desde que alumbró el día, cuando el sol comenzó a apuntar detrás del follaje de los árboles, y un espectáculo maravilloso que me brindó ese momento a través de las nubes, que semejaba el tricolor de mi bandera.

Llegué a pensar muchas veces que eran fotos editadas, pero no, ahí estaban frente a mis ojos las tres franjas; amarillo, azul y rojo. Que regalo tan maravilloso me ofreció esa perspectiva. Desde la altura pude admirar los techos, era como otro sitio que no es el mismo donde me encuentro. Sigo con la idea de construir la escalera. Ya quedé con el deseo de capturar más imágenes desde la altura, y no voy a descansar hasta lograr ese proyecto.
