MY ATTEMPT TO DECORATE A LATTE

(Edited)

Hello, happy afternoon to all coffee lovers. In these unexpectedly rainy days, for my snacks I have opted to prepare more coffee with milk, or coffee with chocolate, than my traditional black coffee, or my simple guayoyo. I confess that I am a fan of decorated coffees, and whenever I visit a coffee shop I always ask them to decorate it so I can photograph their designs and keep them as a souvenir. Definitely, decorating coffee is an art and it takes practice, techniques, proper tools, and patience, lots of patience, to achieve those beautiful motifs that we love to see on the surface of our cup.

Even so, I have tried a few times, failing in all of them, hahahaha , but I have fun trying to make some form possible. Yesterday I tried to make a Christmas tree, and the result was this, at least it looks like a pinito. I heated the milk and whipped it to the point of cream as I read in a tutorial on the web, then I was pouring the coffee quickly moving my hand according to the desired shape. Honestly, I admire the coffee artists, but I do not lose hope of being able to decorate some with better results.

I think the hearts are the easiest to make, but even so, even that simple shape has not turned out well for me. For now, I continue making my artistic attempts over coffee, and enjoying my delicious frothy lattes in these cold afternoons that remind us that Christmas is coming, and of course, in the company of some cookies or a piece of cake, which in these days I have received several gifts for the birthday boys and girls of the month.

Thank you very much to all of you for visiting my blog, I say goodbye until the next story that I will tell you in the company of a good coffee. Happy Wednesday afternoon.

A valiant attempt for sure - and it looks like a Christmas tree to me, so you must be doing something right :D keep going! I'm guessing the more popular coffeeshop shapes like a heart must also be the easier ones, since they do it so often, you know?

Yours came out great, though. I'm sure if you keep practicing, you'll get fancy-looking coffees in no time!

Thank you very much 😊
I think every day we should try to learn something new, no matter how difficult it is. And whatever the outcome, we are always going to be left with the satisfaction that we tried.
Your words made me love my Christmas tree more, and want to keep practicing other figures in my coffee. A big hug.
Happy Holidays. ☕🌷

Saludos amiga. ☺️
