HOW DELICIOUS IS THE FLOR DE ARAUCA COFFEE (En - Es)

ENGLISH
Yesterday was a shopping day, and while at the supermarket, I stopped for a while at the coffee aisle because it had just been restocked. I saw many new brands; some I'd heard of, others I didn't know, but I wanted to try some recommendations from our friends in this coffee-loving community, and I opted for "Flor de Arauca" coffee.

I already had good references for this brand, and I love the name; it reminds me of a fragment of our "Alma Llanera"... "I was born on this bank of the vibrant Arauca...", a beautiful second national anthem of our country. So I bought a 200-gram package, as I always do when I try a new coffee flavor, buying small packages to see if it passes my personal "coffee-o-meter" test.

It's getting difficult to have just one favorite brand, but what is certain is that this coffee is also going on my list of favorites. It has a penetrating aroma; just opening it filled the whole house with its scent. As you know, I brew my coffee in the traditional "guayoyo" style, using a cloth filter. So, I boiled the water and brewed my coffee.

I love the foam that forms on the surface; it looks beautiful, and the steam it releases while brewing is glorious. If the aroma of ground coffee is strong, imagine how it smells freshly brewed. Something I liked about this coffee is that its unsweetened flavor isn't unpleasant; on the contrary, it's very smooth, and I don't mind drinking it without sugar.

I've had this happen with other brands; no matter how tasty they are, when I drink them without sugar, they don't pass muster—they're too bitter for my taste. This coffee is a bit more expensive than others, but it's well worth it because its flavor is exquisite.

I hope you enjoyed my post. Thank you so much for visiting my blog… until next time, with a cup of coffee. Have a wonderful day!
