FOR COFFEE-LOVING MOTHERS

Hello, good morning to all of you, and congratulations to all the coffee-loving mothers in this community... we continue celebrating this month in our honor, and coffee could not fail to be a protagonist of this special date.
As I wrote in the brief description of my Hive profile, coffee is an essential part of my life and my daily routine, for every moment of the day, when I wake up, in the middle of the morning, at snack time, in meetings inside and outside my home, in my cooking recipes, and in many other situations that may arise during the course of each day. And there are many mothers who love coffee as much as I do, and we would surely give ourselves something related to it, or those who know us, would do the same.

That is why the artisans of the town where I live, worked for months to exhibit their crafts in honor of mothers. Beforehand, I tell you that each piece was made by senior citizens, even older adults, and they built them with conventional tools, in their homes, and with their own creativity.
In this area, as I mentioned in other posts, it is customary to prepare the famous guayoyo llanero, which consists of a soft coffee made with a cloth strainer and boiled water. For this reason the artisans built the stand or support for the strainer to rest on so that we do not hold it in our hands, and underneath is placed the jug, or the glass, according to the taste of each mother.

To expand the range of handicrafts, they also added to some of them, some containers to put sugar, coffee cups, milk, and teaspoons. In the case that the support is used in meeting places where several people attend. Each model has a carved message for mothers, or something related to coffee... I liked them all, even more when I saw the creative and enterprising potential of our little old men. I think that was what attracted me the most to the exhibition. They were sold with small presentations of some local coffees. I had mine made to my liking, and I'm waiting for them to let me know it's ready to pick it up... without a doubt it's a perfect gift for those of us mothers who love coffee.
I hope you liked this exhibition of handicrafts, I will tell you some other coffee related story. Happy Thursday.
