En época navideña coloco adornos de materiales irrompibles, por si sufren caídas no se dañen, pero para el resto del año no he planificado nada, y no quiero más decoración o detalles de tela, foami o papel ya que cuando agarran polvo, es complicado limpiarlos. Hace mucho tiempo coloqué plantas de plástico y flores artificiales, así como las de navidad, pero de otros modelos, sólo que ya se deterioraron con el tiempo, por lavarlas… ésa era la ventaja, que eran lavables. Quizás contemple revisar las quincallas para ver qué puedo comprar nuevamente y que me permita hacer algún arreglo para las partes altas.

Recientemente había optado por colocar plantas naturales adentro, algo que siempre me ha gustado porque le da mucha frescura y vida al interior de la casa, pero tuve un mal momento con el gatito más pequeño, al morder una planta que resultó ser tóxica. Gracias a Dios no la tragó y pudimos resolver la situación a tiempo sin consecuencias negativas. Desde ese momento, las plantas quedaron excluidas de la decoración interior, pero luego dando giros a la mente, consideré retomarlas, buscando algunas opciones entre las plantas que no son tóxicas, incluso, las que son medicinales.

I had recently opted to put natural plants inside, something I have always liked because it gives a lot of freshness and life to the interior of the house, but I had a bad moment with the smallest kitten, when he bit into a plant that turned out to be toxic. Thank God he didn't swallow it and we were able to resolve the situation in time without negative consequences. From that moment on, plants were excluded from the interior decoration, but then turning my mind around, I considered taking them up again, looking for some options among the plants that are not toxic, even those that are medicinal.

Así que revisando el jardín, tomé unas ramas con raíces de la planta llamada Boldo, y las sembré en botellas de refrescos picadas a la mitad. Coloqué un poco de abono, y al poco tiempo retoñaron hermosas. El tiempo de lluvia también me ha colaborado.
