A TOAST TO LIFE

Hello, good afternoon to all coffee lovers. Trying to maintain the training routine despite the rainy days that have not made much pause to say, has not been very easy, but I made a promise of constancy since last weekend was the CardioRun sporting event, and I do not want to fail. I train at night but since it is far away, I leave my house in the late afternoon, and it is precisely at that time when the rain resumes its work of the day. At that time what I want is a cup of coffee, tea or chocolate in the quiet of my house.

Workouts are Monday through Friday, sometimes there is some yoga activity on Fridays, and I usually walk on weekends. But although walking is a pretty complete activity, the functional training routines have exercises that reactivate areas of the body that are not always moving, and you need to get there.

Yesterday afternoon I left my house in the middle of a black cloud that threatened to fall at any moment, and it was almost arriving at the gym that it began to manifest itself. I took a coat with a hood because honestly, it's annoying to carry an umbrella and a raincoat. Enough with everything else I carry.

I arrived just as the heaviest rain began to fall, and it stayed that way for the rest of the afternoon and evening. As we already knew that was the forecast, we agreed to prepare hot chocolate at the end of the training... the best little dinner.

Once the exercise day was over, we went to the kitchen to assemble the chocolate, the first chocolate where everyone put their hand in to add something, hahahaha. I tell you that this mixture had everything, since everyone brought an ingredient. So we put together water, powdered milk, cocoa powder, Toddy, chocolate, sugar and even cornstarch.

Don't be scared, it wasn't a bomb, the mixture was really good. And so we toasted with a delicious hot chocolate at the end of the week's training, and under a rain that lasted all night.

The toast was for more life, more moments like that, to continue united as a family, and for friendship to last and grow nicely every day.

We accompanied the chocolate with sweet slices and a small piece of cake, we chatted pleasantly, we repeated the chocolate because there was enough, and we said goodbye until next Monday.

I love those improvised moments that come out of the blue without a plan or previous appointments. Thank you all for visiting my blog, it will be until another opportunity to tell you another story in the company of a coffee, a tea, or a delicious hot chocolate. Happy weekend.
