Hello beer lovers, now I’m back again, it's been a while, never shared my story about beer due to some reason that sometimes life is tough, and sometimes we have to deal with it in quiet. Anyway, today was just a simple day, but it turned out really nice. Me And my husband went out for lunch, just the two of us. He followed me to the hospital for my follow-up check-up, after just nice it's lunch time, we just felt like eating out and enjoying each other’s company to remove the tension after seeing the doctor, and all my results are not critical. We are also thankful that we found the branch of our favorite restaurant, The Brew House. The food is good, and the beer is also good. we sat in a nice spot, cozy and not too crowded. The lights were warm, and the place felt relaxing. People around us were also enjoying their food. Since it's been 1 month, never touch any beer or wine, I really feel so thirsty, but I can’t drink so much still, so to satisfy my thirst, I just took a half glass of the cold Kronenbourg 1664 beer, it's really satisfying, it was so refreshing! The glass was cold, and the beer tasted smooth. Ang sarap, especially with the warm weather outside. I took a sip first, and then smiled. It’s a Simple joy.

My husband looked at the menu seriously, like he always does. He ended up with spicy seafood pasta. It looked so good, I couldn’t stop myself from trying it. full of clams, shrimp, garlic, and chili. Smells great too! I saw the chicken burger looked good on the menu. It's a crispy chicken burger with curly, crunchy fries and seasoned just right. I wonder how I finished the big serving! While eating, we talked about random things, life, food, work, and funny stuff online. Then sometimes, he picks up some calls, and I will be busy with the food, enjoying the moment. Just being together felt enough for me with his company, I feel so comfortable, and all the bad thoughts are gone. I looked at my husband while he was reading the menu again, maybe thinking about dessert. He looked so serious, so funny. He caught me looking and we both laughed. Small things like that make me happy. After finishing our food, we still had beer left. So we sat there, and slowly he finished his drinks. Around us, the restaurant was getting busier, but we stayed in our little world. It felt peaceful.

This kind of bonding I always look forward not fancy. But I can feel how my husband, after 15 years together he always makes sure he will be by my side in every trial I'm going. We didn’t go to a big restaurant or eat expensive food. But it felt very special. Sometimes, love is not about big gifts or big trips. Love is in small and simple moments. Even a cold beer, tasty food, and the person you love sitting in front of me, that is already enough to feel happy. And he knows what exactly I want without telling him. The conversation, and laughed, and enjoyed the time together. There was no rush. Sometimes when we have troubles in life, we need to be peaceful and calm. sharing a quiet lunch. Before we went home, we both said, “We should do this more often.” And I agree. Simple dates like this make the heart full. They remind us what really matters. Life wasn’t easy, but if we are with someone to face it together, everything will be beautiful. Sometimes, all we need is time together, a good meal, and good bonding.
