RE: Why do we struggle so much "marketing" HIVE?
You are viewing a single comment's thread:
We need to stop upvoting content about the platform as generously as we currently do, and focus on real stories that will see HIVE content get picked up elsewhere.
This challenges whales who support dev content, and any kind of platform related content exclusively or disproportionately. When this happens it just perpetuates itself and the majority of new Hive users don't know how to fit-in in all that.
Its a problem of tag-and-pull between the social-blogger-creatives side and the Crypto-dev-investors. One side says that "we need to focus on improving what is already there", and the other side is saying "no, we have to build better systems on top first". Both a right and wrong at the same time - that is why we're stuck in a stalemate of not having a clear marketable direction.
The irony is that we have a platform that works. So many other projects do not.
