You just hinted at the billion dollar question - how can Hive's internal economy become a factor in determining its price, and how can Hive (and crypto in general) can decouple from the fluctuation of BTC. I don't have the answer - I don't posses enough knowledge to offer ideas. I just know enough to identify the problem.

Yeah I was just talking today with some friends that got hyped with the new 3speak updates. Now we have auto subtitles it looks like. For those creating videos is amazing. They got hyped saying that now hive will go to 3$...I wish. Indeed good updates that could make video upload easier and more attractive. But I don't think it will solve that problem hehehe. Maybe if BTC goes to the moon more people will come again to Hive and notice all these great things... but the way we are right now I doubt it =p
