Hi everyone, It’s another wonderful vibe week again, and I’m doing Create in Me a Clean Heart by Keith Greene. This song always brings me back on track when I seem to be going astray, and it is actually a scripture from the Bible.
When you feel you have sinned and do not feel worthy or are drifting away, that’s when this scripture comes into play. When it feels like the choices are wrong and you could have done better, that’s when this becomes your prayer. Times when you feel empty and you have lost your joy…this song comes very much alive. Mind you, there is a difference between happiness and joy. Joy is your inner peace, even when the circumstances do not seem to be going in your favor.
This joy only comes when you ask for it from the Lord since it cannot be bought. This song reminds me that no matter how far gone I am, I can still return to God; he will renew me and make me whole again. He can restore even the broken pieces if and only if I ask Him. I do not know what someone may be going through or how you think you have gone astray or lost it. I want this song to be a constant reminder that all you need to do is come to God in all sincerity, and he will draw you back to himself and restore even what the cankerworm has destroyed or what seems irreparable and make you whole again.
