Un día a la vez, sumando momentos

Qué maravilla resulta pensar que todos los días podemos hacer la diferencia, con sólidas y sencillas acciones. Por ejemplo, dar gracias al levantarnos, regalarnos una sonrisa, brindarnos un abrazo.

Cuando por alguna u otra razón nos toca vivir solos en casa, puede pasar que en algún momento se pueda sentir muy grande, como si algo le faltara; por ello, la forma de cómo llevemos y miremos la vida ayudará a poder entender ciertos procesos. Particularmente, mis plantas me han ayudado a sentirme en compañía. Cuidarlas y hablarles todos los días me llena de una inmensa calma; verlas florecer y crecer me regala alegría, además de la energía que emiten en el departamento.

Pequeñas decisiones en nuestras vidas van trazando y dibujando el camino de experiencias y momentos que luego nos permiten avanzar. Detenernos puede ser una opción; sin embargo, avanzar siempre será una gran oportunidad; todo dependerá de nuestras decisiones. Por consiguiente, he decidido disfrutar de todo lo que el día me ofrece. Si viajo en autobús, miro por la ventanilla y detallo cada lugar; al visitar una cafetería, lo hago con todo el entusiasmo. No se requiere tener mucho dinero para disfrutar de buenos momentos, pero sí de disposición y actitud.

Comenzar bien el día puede resultar de grandes enseñanzas; son como pequeños pasos y logros. Mis padres me suelen decir: "Un día a la vez, hija", y de esta manera irás sumando pequeños logros; por ello me he dispuesto a organizar de esta forma; he ido organizando gran parte de mi vida y también celebro cada pequeño logro, ya que esto me permite llenarme de valor y voluntad para continuar.

También decidí retomar mis lecturas diarias de esas que me gustan por lo que me muestran; cada paseo de letras enriquece mi mente y me lleva a lugares increíbles. Por ello, siempre estaré agradecida por mis pequeñas decisiones para llevar mis días de forma más alegre.

One Day at a Time, Adding Up Moments

How wonderful it is to think that every day we can make a difference with simple, solid actions. For example, giving thanks when we wake up, giving ourselves a smile, giving ourselves a hug.

When, for one reason or another, we have to live alone at home, it can sometimes feel overwhelming, as if something is missing. Therefore, how we approach and view life helps us understand certain processes. Personally, my plants have helped me feel less alone. Caring for them and talking to them every day fills me with immense calm; watching them bloom and grow brings me joy, in addition to the energy they radiate in the apartment.

Small decisions in our lives shape and define the path of experiences and moments that allow us to move forward. Stopping can be an option; however, moving forward will always be a great opportunity; everything depends on our choices. Therefore, I have decided to enjoy everything the day offers me. If I travel by bus, I look out the window and take in every detail; when I visit a coffee shop, I do so with enthusiasm. You don't need a lot of money to enjoy good times, but you do need the willingness and attitude.

Starting the day well can be incredibly rewarding; they're like small steps and achievements. My parents often tell me, "One day at a time, daughter," and that way you'll accumulate small accomplishments. That's why I've decided to organize myself this way; I've been organizing a large part of my life, and I also celebrate each small achievement, as it fills me with courage and the will to continue.

I've also decided to resume my daily reading, the kind I enjoy for what it reveals to me; each journey through words enriches my mind and takes me to incredible places. For this reason, I will always be grateful for my small decisions to make my days more joyful.
