El hogar están donde fluye el corazón

Desde la inmensidad de los pensamientos que construyen castillos, derrumban muros y diseñan puentes increíbles, escribo esta publicación desde el amor. Buscar un lugar donde vivir, resulta de una tarea ardua que requiere dedicación y sobre todo una forma de mirar diferente.

Cuando se maneja experiencia en la vida, las situaciones las conducimos de manera diferente; sin embargo, no se deja nunca de emocionar o sentir por volver a formar y tener un hogar en cualquier parte donde nos encontremos. En estos días, me dispuse a emprender una búsqueda de alquiler para habitar y he visitado más de 6 apartamentos, en búsqueda de mudanza, he visitado innumerables sitios web para elegir el lugar que deseo y hoy al escribir esta publicación me doy cuenta, que puedo confirmar que busco, no importa el lugar donde me encuentre, porque el amor de hogar lo tenemos siempre dentro de nosotros mismos.

Entonces, ¿qué es un hogar? Desde mi perspectiva, es ese lugar que se vuelve propio, donde deseo estar, encuentro paz, es ese remanso de alegría y, sobre todo, se convierte en mi refugio y protección. Por ello, quizás se puede llegar a pensar que resulta difícil encontrarlo estando tan lejos de mi tierra, pero no es imposible, porque solo requerimos imprimirle más amor, más dedicación y, sobre todo, adaptación a una nueva realidad, porque el hogar está en nosotros.

Todo esto me recuerda a una frase que mi madre siempre compartió desde que éramos niños, “los hijos no son de los padres, son hijos del universo”, en su momento no la entendí mucho, pero ya después de adulta, y hoy en día estando fuera de mi país la entiendo mucho más, porque es la expresión de desapego más grande y una gran muestra de amor que una madre puede mostrar. Hoy en día que tantas almas nos encontramos como migrantes en otros lugares del mundo, les comparto, que, si es posible volver a tener un hogar, desde el amor, la adaptación, el agradecimiento y la firme convicción de que todo estará bien en una nueva tierra.

No puedo evitar recordar mientras escribo la película UP, donde todo se desarrolla con Carl (Adulto mayor) que arrastra la casa sujetada por globos, para llevar su hogar a ese lugar soñado que Ely su esposa, deseaba conocer y no pudo. Así, de esta misma manera, vamos cargando con costumbres y creencias fuertemente arraigadas, que en ocasiones no permiten ampliar el panorama y ver otras posibilidades.

Hoy en día, ya el desapego, lo vengo superando desde hace algún tiempo y, aunque dejo mi casa en la tierra que me vio nacer atrás, estoy segura de que donde me encuentre construiré mi nuevo hogar, mi espacio donde soñaré y todo estará bien.
Abrazo desde esta publicación a todos aquellos amigos que se encuentren fuera de su país y deseo enviarles la mejor de las vibras, como una forma de decirles que si pueden lograrlo y sus sueños están detrás del muro de los miedos que sienten, por ello, derrumben esos muros y verán como se abre ese camino maravilloso que desean.

En las fotografías estoy acompañada de una de mis primeras alumnas, un alma libre y hermosa, que también migró y que hoy en día hace su propio camino. Estoy encantada y agradecida de la oportunidad de poder compartir con ella en esta tierra Argentina que nos ha permitido reencontrarnos y abrir otro vínculo de comunicación. Además, se la dedico a ella y a todos los egresados de la universidad, colegas y amigos que hoy en día se encuentran fuera del país abriendo sus alas a nuevos horizontes.

Home is where the heart flows

From the immensity of thoughts that build castles, tear down walls, and design incredible bridges, I write this post from a place of love. Searching for a place to live is an arduous task that requires dedication and, above all, a different way of looking at things.

When we have life experiences, we handle situations differently; however, we never stop feeling excited or excited about rebuilding and having a home wherever we are. These past few days, I set out to find a place to live and have visited more than six apartments. I've visited countless websites to choose the place I want, and today, as I write this post, I realize I can confirm that I'm searching, no matter where I am, because the love of home is always within us.

So, what is home? From my perspective, it's that place that becomes my own, where I long to be, where I find peace, where I find that haven of joy, and, above all, where it becomes my refuge and protection. Therefore, perhaps you might think it's difficult to find it so far from my homeland, but it's not impossible, because we just need to infuse it with more love, more dedication, and, above all, adapt to a new reality, because home is within us.

All of this reminds me of a phrase my mother always shared since we were children: "Children are not of their parents, they are children of the universe." At the time, I didn't understand it much, but as an adult, and now, living outside my country, I understand it even more, because it's the greatest expression of detachment and a great show of love a mother can show. Today, when so many of us find ourselves as migrants in other parts of the world, I share with you that it is possible to have a home again, through love, adaptation, gratitude, and the firm conviction that everything will be fine in a new land.

I can't help but remember, as I write, the movie UP, where everything unfolds with Carl (an older adult) pulling the house held up by balloons to take his home to that dream place that Ely, his wife, longed to see but couldn't. In this same way, we carry deeply rooted customs and beliefs, which sometimes prevent us from expanding our horizons and seeing other possibilities.

Today, I've been overcoming this detachment for some time now, and although I'm leaving my home in the land of my birth behind, I'm sure that wherever I am, I'll build my new home, my space where I'll dream, and everything will be fine.

Through this post, I embrace all those friends who are abroad and wish to send them the best of vibes, as a way of telling them that if they can achieve it and their dreams are behind the wall of fear they feel, tear down those walls and they will see how that wonderful path they desire opens up.

In the photographs, I'm accompanied by one of my first students, a free and beautiful soul who also migrated and is now making her own way. I'm delighted and grateful for the opportunity to share this Argentine land with her, which has allowed us to reconnect and forge another bond of communication. I also dedicate this to her and to all the university graduates, colleagues, and friends who are currently abroad, opening their wings to new horizons.
