Jueves santo en Caripe / Maundy Thursday in Caripe

¡Hola amigos! Hoy les cuento cómo estuvo nuestro Jueves Santo 2025.

Mi esposo y yo trabajamos casi toda la Semana Santa, abrimos nuestro negocio hasta el miércoles y cerramos solo jueves y viernes, sin embargo, en el área de servicios que también ofrecemos estábamos de guardia por si llegaba a salir alguno de emergencia. Para el Jueves Santo si nos lanzamos una pequeña escapadita con unos amigos que estuvo más que espectacular.

Hello friends! Today I tell you how was our Holy Thursday 2025.
My husband and I worked almost all Holy Week, we opened our business until Wednesday and closed only Thursday and Friday, however, in the service area that we also offer we were on call in case any emergency came up. On Holy Thursday we did take a little getaway with some friends and it was more than spectacular.

Jeanpier y María José son de esas personas que te llenan siempre de cosas positivas, como las llama la Dra. Marian Rojas Estape, son personas vitamina y nosotros tenemos la dicha de llamarlos amigos. A pesar de que estamos compartiendo desde hace poco, porque ellos van llegando al país, hemos conectado de forma muy bonita y yo solo deseo que siga siendo así e incluso cada vez mejor.

Jeanpier and María José are one of those people that always fill you with positive things, as Dr. Marian Rojas Estape calls them, they are vitamin people and we are happy to call them friends. Although we have been sharing for a short time, because they are arriving to the country, we have connected in a very nice way and I only wish that it continues to be like that and even better each time.

Ellos van llegando de Colombia de donde es María José, la esposa de Jeanpier y tienen un hijo de 10 años que está conociendo el país. Así que con ese motivo de inspiración para brindarle a él nuevas aventuras, ellos nos invitaron a pasear para las afueras de nuestra ciudad, específicamente para ir a visitar la población de Caripe que es uno de los sitios más bellos de nuestro Estado.

They are arriving from Colombia where Maria Jose, Jeanpier's wife is from and they have a 10 year old son who is getting to know the country. So with this motive of inspiration to give him new adventures, they invited us to go for a walk to the outskirts of our city, specifically to visit the town of Caripe which is one of the most beautiful places in our state.

Por supuesto, al recibir la invitación no dudamos ni un segundo en decir que sí, dejamos todo organizado por si llegaba a salir algún trabajo de último momento y nos fuimos desde bien temprano con ellos a pasear.

Of course, when we received the invitation we didn't hesitate for a second to say yes, we left everything organized in case any last minute work came up and we went for a walk with them very early in the morning.

Nuestra primera parada fue en el parque nacional el Guacharo donde se encuentra el monumento natural Alejandro de Humboldt o como es conocido por todos «La Cueva del Guácharo»

Our first stop was at the Guacharo National Park where the Alejandro de Humboldt Natural Monument is located, or as it is known by all “La Cueva del Guacharo” (the Guacharo Cave).

Allí estuvimos gran parte del día, explorando, compartiendo y contactando con la naturaleza y rindiendo homenaje a nuestra religión, ya que hay varios sitios católicos que lo permiten, y al haber sido un Jueves Santo y todos creyentes aprovechamos de agradecer en la gruta de la virgen, que es otra formación natural que allí se encuentra y que emana mucha energía bonita.

We spent most of the day there, exploring, sharing and getting in touch with nature and paying homage to our religion, since there are several Catholic sites that allow it, and since it was Holy Thursday and all believers, we took the opportunity to give thanks in the Virgin's grotto, which is another natural formation that emanates a lot of beautiful energy.

Este parque nacional es hermoso, su clima siempre perfecto, a veces hasta un poco frío, pero para estos meses estamos en sequía y estaba súper agradable como a unos 24° aproximadamente. Pudimos mostrarle a Alessandro lo bonito de este lugar y que conociera un poco sobre la ciudad de su papá y los amigos de su papá.

This national park is beautiful, the weather is always perfect, sometimes even a little cold, but for these months we are in drought and it was super nice at about 24° approximately. We were able to show Alessandro the beauty of this place and let him know a little bit about his dad's city and his dad's friends.
