Se trata de Luidemar Salazar o como le decimos todos de cariño "Pili". Pili fue la primera bebé que yo conocí recién nacida. Sus papás y los míos eran vecinos en mi infancia y ella tiene dos hermanas que son contemporáneas conmigo, de hecho su hermana mayor, que es quien comparte año de nacimiento conmigo, es una de mis mejores amigas (mi "sis"), por lo tanto, yo crecí junto a ellas.

This is Luidemar Salazar or as we all call her "Pili". Pili was the first baby I met as a newborn. Her parents and mine were neighbors in my childhood and she has two sisters who are contemporaries with me, in fact her older sister, who shares the same year of birth with me, is one of my best friends (my "sis"), therefore, I grew up with them.

Somos amigas casi familia y cuando Pili nacía Dey (mi sis) y yo teníamos 9 años. Yo estuve presente el día que esa hermosa bebé llego a casa después de haber nacido, se podrán imaginar que para sus dos hermanas y para mí, Pili era nuestra muñequita de carne y hueso. Cuando su mamá nos dejaba jugar con ella siendo tan chiquita, nosotras disfrutábamos mucho vistiéndola con trajecitos de fiesta y maquillándola.

We are almost family friends and when Pili was born Dey (my sis) and I were 9 years old. I was present the day that beautiful baby came home after she was born, you can imagine that for her two sisters and me, Pili was our little doll of flesh and blood. When her mother let us play with her when she was so little, we enjoyed dressing her up in party dresses and making her up.

En lo que Pili comenzó a crecer su mamá decidió buscarle una actividad para que tuviera algo que hacer y Pili a la edad de 4 años se enamoró del ballet, desde entonces es parte de su vida.

As Pili began to grow up her mother decided to find an activity for her to do and at the age of 4 years old Pili fell in love with ballet, since then it has been part of her life.

Ha participado en infinidades de eventos, ha ganado concursos a nivel nacional de danza y de ballet, ha crecido con el baile a su paso. Ella hizo del baile parte de su manera de expresar todo lo que representa.

She has participated in countless events, she has won national dance and ballet competitions, she has grown with dance in her step. She has made dance part of her way of expressing all that she represents.

Yo me mudé siendo adolescente de al lado de mis amigas, sin embargo, aunque la comunicación ya no era tan frecuente como cuando vivíamos cerca, nunca hemos perdido el contacto y siempre que nos veíamos iba observando como Pili crecía cada día más bella y le hacía seguimiento a su carrera como bailarina.

I moved away from my friends' side as a teenager, however, although communication was not as frequent as when we lived nearby, we never lost contact and whenever we saw each other I would watch as Pili grew more beautiful every day and followed her career as a dancer.

Hoy en día Luidemar no solo es hermosa físicamente, su corazón es uno de los más sencillos y dulces qué conozco y baila como una Diosa. Ya cuenta con 20 años de edad y además de seguir en el mundo del baile, está cursando la carrera de medicina con un promedio increíble.

Today Luidemar is not only physically beautiful, her heart is one of the simplest and sweetest I know and she dances like a Goddess. She is already 20 years old and besides dancing, she is studying medicine with an incredible average.

Por todo esto y más es que este año la Federación dancística del estado Monagas decidió homenajear a esta espectacular bailarina, orgullo de nuestro estado, país y orgullo de mi corazón.

For all this and more is that this year the Monagas State Dance Federation decided to pay tribute to this spectacular dancer, pride of our state, country and pride of my heart.

Cuando me enteré de que mi hermosa Pili iba a ser homenajeada no dude ni un segundo en comprar mis entradas para asistir a ese evento, como les comenté anteriormente desde que me mudé, yo seguía en contacto con mis amigas, más no lográbamos vernos de manera frecuente y no veía bailar a Pili desde que era una niña. Tenía muchísima emoción de estar allí y de volver a verla bailar.

When I found out that my beautiful Pili was going to be honored I did not hesitate for a second to buy my tickets to attend the event, as I told you before since I moved, I was still in contact with my friends, but we did not get to see each other frequently and I had not seen Pili dance since I was a little girl. I was very excited to be there and to see her dance again.

Al llegar a la casa de la cultura del estado Monagas y ver que tenían en un pasillo la foto de la hermosa niña que una vez vi tan chiquita convertida en toda una hermosa mujer y la mejor bailarina del estado.

When I arrived at the house of culture of the state of Monagas and saw that they had in a hallway the photo of the beautiful girl that I once saw so small, turned into a beautiful woman and the best dancer in the state.

Mi corazón se infló de orgullo, estaba demasiado emocionada como si se tratara de mi hermanita pequeña, sus papás estaban allí también, sus hermanas (mis amigas) no pudieron asistir porque sus trabajos se los impidieron, pero estuvimos sus papás, mi esposo y yo para presenciar el acto.

My heart swelled with pride, I was too excited as if it were my little sister, her parents were there too, her sisters (my friends) could not attend because their jobs prevented them, but her parents, my husband and I were there to witness the event.

Esperamos unos minutos mientras todo se terminaba de organizar y el público llegaba, cada minuto que pasaba mi corazón se llenaba más de emoción, pues el sitio estaba lleno de gente, no solo para ver a Luidemar sino porque también se iban a presentar otras escuelas de baile y por supuesto estas personas venían a apreciar igual que nosotros todo el hermoso evento.

We waited a few minutes while everything was being organized and the public was arriving, every minute that passed my heart was filled with emotion, because the place was full of people, not only to see Luidemar but also because other dance schools were going to perform and of course these people came to appreciate the beautiful event as we did.

Cuando comenzó y Pili hizo su entrada, fue un momento verdaderamente mágico, qué bella se veía, no pude evitar llorar de la emoción, su presentación fue impecable, el escenario se iba a caer al verla.

When she started and Pili made her entrance, it was a truly magical moment, how beautiful she looked, I couldn't help but cry with emotion, her presentation was impeccable, the stage was going to fall down when I saw her.

De verdad que fue un momento maravilloso y me alegra muchísimo haber podido asistir. Por supuesto que yo no era la única emocionada, los papás de ella también lo estaban, incluso 10 veces más que yo ☺️😂

It was truly a wonderful moment and I am so glad I was able to attend. Of course I wasn't the only one excited, her parents were too, even 10 times more excited than me ☺️😂

Luego de la presentación de Pili y de que el Estado y la Federación le entregarán su merecidísimo reconocimiento, se presentaron otras escuelas de ballet, niñas y mujeres de todas las edades, todas verdaderamente hermosas, a mí incluso me quedó la ilusión de que si algún día Dios me regala una hija ojalá le guste bailar y no dudaría ni un segundo en apoyarla a que pertenezca a este mundo tan hermoso como lo es la danza ❤️.

After Pili's presentation and after the State and the Federation presented her with her well-deserved recognition, other ballet schools were presented, girls and women of all ages, all truly beautiful, and I even had the illusion that if someday God gives me a daughter, I hope she likes to dance and I would not hesitate for a second to support her to belong to this beautiful world of dance ❤️.
