Hoy quiero contarles un poco de lo que fue parte de mi fin de semana y es que este fin de semana se celebró en la ciudad de Maturín una feria llamada Expo Petróleo, Turismo y Gas a la cual tuve la oportunidad de asistir y con mucha emoción ver todo lo que mi querido estado se propone a proyectar en los próximos tiempos.

Today I want to tell you a little of what was part of my weekend and that is that this weekend was held in the city of Maturin a fair called Expo Oil, Tourism and Gas to which I had the opportunity to attend and with great excitement to see everything that my beloved state intends to project in the coming times.

Venezuela es un país petrolero y Monagas es uno de los estados de mayor producción. Sin embargo, por muchas razones, en los últimos años esta industria se ha visto bastante afectada en nuestro país. Pero aún con lo afectada qué se ha visto, creo no equivocarme cuando digo que en todas las familias venezolanas existe por lo menos un familiar que esté involucrado a esta industria, en mi caso puedo decir que vengo de una familia petrolera.

Venezuela is an oil producing country and Monagas is one of the states with the highest production. However, for many reasons, in recent years this industry has been quite affected in our country. But even with how affected it has been, I think I am not wrong when I say that in every Venezuelan family there is at least one relative who is involved in this industry, in my case I can say that I come from an oil family.

Desde mis abuelos, mis tíos, primos y hasta mi papá han sido parte del desarrollo petrolero del país, formando parte de la empresa que representa al estado venezolano (PDVSA). Todos han pasado por la formación y hemos sido parte de lo que petróleos de Venezuela le ha dejado a nuestro país.

Since my grandparents, my uncles, uncles, cousins and even my father have been part of the oil development of the country, being part of the company that represents the Venezuelan state (PDVSA). All of them have gone through the training and we have been part of what Petroleos de Venezuela has left to our country.

Yo, aunque soy odontólogo estoy casada (no sé si por destino o casualidad) con un ingeniero petrolero, que aunque actualmente no ejerce su profesión por dedicarse a negocios particulares, tiene conocimiento del tema y le apasiona muchísimo. De hecho fue él quien me invitó a acercarnos y ver que ofrecían en esta expo nuestros representantes de estado con respeto al tema del petróleo, turismo y gas.

Although I am a dentist, I am married (I don't know if by fate or coincidence) to a petroleum engineer, who, although he is not currently practicing his profession because he is engaged in private business, has knowledge of the subject and is very passionate about it. In fact, it was he who invited me to come and see what our state representatives were offering at this expo with respect to the subject of oil, tourism and gas.

Monagas no solo es un estado que ofrece producción petrolera, nuestro estado también es pionero en el procesado de gas para comercialización del mismo, ya qué este es otro derivado del petróleo. Pero también Monagas tiene un ecoturismo super amplio del que pocos conocen y que la verdad es mucho lo que podemos mostrar y ofrecer en esta área.

Monagas is not only a state that offers oil production, our state is also a pioneer in the processing of gas for its commercialization, since this is another oil derivative. But Monagas also has a super wide ecotourism that few know about and the truth is that we can show and offer a lot in this area.

Ver como nuestros representantes de estado se tomaron la tarea de mostrar con tanto orgullo estas tres de las muchas virtudes de nuestra Monagas fue de verdad muy gratificante.

To see how our state representatives took the task of showing with so much pride these three of the many virtues of our Monagas was really very gratifying.

Al entrar a la expo me sentí llena de orgullo, mi corazón se infló de alegría, pues, hace muchos años que no veía que se valorará lo nuestro de tan bonita manera. El stand de cada una de las empresas e instituciones presentes eran imponentes y espectaculares, se cuidó cada detalle de la organización para hacernos sentir en un ambiente de prosperidad, de crecimiento, de producción masiva como el que estamos buscando todos los que apostamos día a día por estar mejor y por darle lo mejor a nuestro país.

When I entered the expo I felt full of pride, my heart swelled with joy, because it had been many years since I had seen that what is ours was valued in such a beautiful way. The stand of each of the companies and institutions present were impressive and spectacular, every detail of the organization was taken care of to make us feel in an atmosphere of prosperity, growth, mass production as we are looking for all those who bet every day to be better and to give the best to our country.

Me lleno de esperanza ver esta actividad, que no solo estuvo acompañada del stand de representación de las empresas presentes, también había representaciones de cada municipio de mi estado Monagas mostrando sus bellezas naturales.

It filled me with hope to see this activity, which was not only accompanied by the stand of representation of the companies present, there were also representations of each municipality of my state of Monagas showing their natural beauties.

Y el que más me gustó fue la representación de nuestra población WARAO (población indígena del estado Monagas) con sus espectaculares artesanías y su cultura llena de nuestras raíces qué deberíamos todos aprender a valorar y cuidar ❤️ así como valoramos las de otros países, de verdad que fue hermoso contar con la presencia de ellos en ese evento.

And the one I liked the most was the representation of our WARAO population (indigenous population of the state of Monagas) with their spectacular handicrafts and their culture full of our roots that we should all learn to value and take care of ❤️ as well as we value those of other countries, it was really beautiful to have their presence in this event.

También hubo presentaciones de música y baile para los invitados, pues estuvieron presentes muchas autoridades tanto estadales como nacionales, presentaciones del talento monaguense, tanto de música y baile, una belleza de evento.

There were also presentations of music and dance for the guests, as many state and national authorities were present, presentations of talent from Monagüense, both music and dance, a beautiful event.

Yo apuesto por mi país, sé que no ha sido fácil hacerlo, pero no me canso ni me arrepiento, pues, aquí hay mucho todavía qué podemos dar para verlo cada día mejor, aquí esta mi familia y yo particularmente tengo motivos de sobra para amar Venezuela y ver este tipo de eventos me llena de satisfacción y me impulsan a dar cada día un poquito más de mí por mi país, me motivan a seguir creyendo en mis planes y seguir dedicándoles hasta donde Dios me permita. Espero que todos desde donde estén consigan motivaciones como estas.

I bet for my country, I know it has not been easy to do it, but I do not get tired or regret, because here there is still much we can give to see it better every day, here is my family and I particularly have plenty of reasons to love Venezuela and see this kind of events fills me with satisfaction and encourage me to give every day a little more of me for my country, motivate me to continue believing in my plans and continue dedicating myself to them as far as God allows me. I hope that everyone from wherever they are can get motivations like these.
