Día de las madres 2025 / Mother's Day 2025
¡Hola amigos! Todos los segundos domingos del mes de mayo se celebra en Venezuela el día de las madres, este es un día realmente significativo porque celebramos a quienes nos dieron la vida, celebramos nuestra matriz, nuestra esencia, la razón por la que estamos vivos y en gran parte la razón de lo que hoy en día somos. Celebrar este día es para mí es solo un recordatorio de seguir dándole gracias a Dios por haberme puesto en las mejores manos, incluso desde las abuelas que me dio. Por eso lo celebró siempre de la mejor manera y este año súper feliz de volver a celebrar con la abuela que aún está en vida conmigo, mi abuela Elina que afortunadamente la sigo teniendo con más vida que nunca y nuevamente cerquita de nosotros.
Hello friends! Every second Sunday of the month of May is celebrated in Venezuela the Mother's Day, this is a really significant day because we celebrate those who gave us life, we celebrate our womb, our essence, the reason why we are alive and in great part the reason for what we are today. Celebrating this day for me is just a reminder to keep thanking God for having put me in the best hands, even from the grandmothers he gave me. That is why I always celebrate it in the best way and this year I am very happy to celebrate again with the grandmother who is still alive with me, my grandmother Elina, who fortunately I still have her with more life than ever and again close to us.
Para celebrar este día comenzamos homenajeando a la madre que la vida puso en mi camino para darme el mejor esposo, la Sra. Luisa. Ella es un ser más que especial, es una mujer increíble, con una sensibilidad única, tan única que a veces hasta se olvida de ella misma por los que ama. Nosotros, sus hijos, hoy en día solo deseamos que ella cada día sea más feliz y que su felicidad nunca nos falte, pues, cuando ella está bien para nosotros todo está perfecto.
To celebrate this day we begin by honoring the mother that life put in my path to give me the best husband, Mrs. Luisa. She is more than a special being, she is an incredible woman, with a unique sensitivity, so unique that sometimes she even forgets herself for those she loves. We, her children, today only wish that she is happier every day and that her happiness never fails us, because when she is well for us everything is perfect.
La llevamos a desayunar a un sitio especial llamado Granier que hace poco abrieron en Maturín, pero que viene de Caracas y Lechería, donde se hacen desayunos estilo europeo con los mejores productos. Todo lo que allí venden es delicioso, yo conocía el de Las Mercedes y el de Lechería, pero aún no había tenido la oportunidad de visitar el nuevo que abrieron en Maturín. Sin embargo, esta nos pareció la ocasión ideal para ir en familia y homenajear a esta mamá que tanto amamos y que sabemos disfrutaría de todas las exquisiteces que aquí venden.
We took her to breakfast at a special place called Granier that recently opened in Maturín, but that comes from Caracas and Lechería, where they make European style breakfasts with the best products. Everything they sell there is delicious, I knew the one in Las Mercedes and the one in Lechería, but I had not yet had the opportunity to visit the new one that opened in Maturín. However, this seemed to be the ideal occasion to go with the family and pay homage to this mother we love so much and who we know would enjoy all the delicacies they sell here.
Ya luego para el medio día nos encontramos con mi mamá y mi abuela Elina para también atenderlas, ya ellas habían ido a desayunar con mi papá y nosotros nos encargamos de invitarlas para el almuerzo, también buscando siempre la forma de llevarlas a un sitio que fuera el más especial, pues, ellas se lo merecen todo. Estos son días que al igual que el día del padre en mi familia no solemos escatimar y siempre dentro de nuestras posibilidades buscamos ofrecerles lo mejor a quienes nunca tienen un no para nosotros y a quienes nos han dado tanto. Jamás será suficiente para agradecerles lo que hoy somos y nos hace tan felices.
They had already gone to breakfast with my dad and we were in charge of inviting them for lunch, always looking for a way to take them to a place that was the most special, because they deserve everything. These are days that like Father's Day in my family we do not usually skimp and always within our means we try to offer the best to those who never have a no for us and to those who have given us so much. It will never be enough to thank them for what we are today and makes us so happy.
Mi mamá desde niños nos enseñó que una lavadora o cualquier artículo de hogar no era el regalo más adecuado para el día de las madres, pues ella dice que eso es un artefacto que beneficia a todos los que viven en un hogar no solo a una madre y la verdad es que para mi tiene toda la razón. Sin juzgar a quien piense diferente, pues hay mamás que tal vez si le haga muy feliz ese tipo de regalos. Nosotros a las nuestras siempre tratamos de llenarlas de atenciones solo para ellas o de regalos que igualmente sean para solo su uso y su satisfacción personal.
My mom taught us from childhood that a washing machine or any household item was not the most appropriate gift for Mother's Day, because she says that this is an appliance that benefits everyone living in a home not just a mother and the truth is that for me she is absolutely right. Without judging those who think differently, there are moms who may be very happy with this type of gift. We always try to fill ours with attentions just for them or gifts that are also for their use and personal satisfaction.
