Acompañame a planchar mi cabello / Come with me to iron my hair

En un rato de ocio durante un día tranquilo, de esos que últimamente no son tan frecuentes por tanto trabajo y diligencias por hacer, me provocó verme diferente para recibir a mi esposo en la noche y decidí plancharme el cabello y mostrarles el proceso.

During a quiet day, one of those that lately are not so frequent due to so much work and errands to do, I decided to look different to receive my husband in the evening and I decided to flat iron my hair and show you the process.
Empiezo por comentarles que yo realmente admiro las chicas que se secan y plancha el cabello con muchísima frecuencia, incluso mi mamá lo hace cada vez que se lava su cabello. La verdad para mí eso es de admirar increíblemente, porque no se puede negar que tener el cabello lindo e impecable como te queda luego de plancharlo es algo muy satisfactorio, pero el proceso para llegar allí es el que a mí particularmente me parece un poco agotador y por eso no suelo hacerlo con tanta frecuencia.
I start by telling you that I really admire girls who blow dry and flat iron their hair very often, even my mom does it every time she washes her hair. The truth for me is to admire it incredibly, because you can't deny that having beautiful and impeccable hair after flat ironing it is something very satisfying, but the process to get there is the one that I particularly find a little exhausting and that's why I don't do it so often.
Gracias a Dios mi cabello es ondulado y a mí me gusta mucho su forma al natural. Trato de mantenerlo bien hidratado y con un buen corte de cabello para que no se vea descuidado o aburrido. Sin embargo, eventualmente me provoca tenerlo bien peinadito y liso como se ve cuando está planchado. Lo que sucede es que yo tengo el cabello muy abundante y largo entonces para mí este proceso de planchar mi cabello y que quede súper liso requiere una inversión como de 20 a 30 minutos que la verdad no estoy dispuesta a invertir tan seguido ☺️🙈
Thank God my hair is wavy and I really like the way it looks naturally. I try to keep it well moisturized and with a good haircut so it doesn't look unkempt or boring. However, eventually I like to have it well combed and straight as it looks when it's flat ironed. What happens is that I have very abundant and long hair so for me this process of flat ironing my hair and making it super straight requires an investment of about 20 to 30 minutes that I'm not really willing to invest so often ☺️🙈
Hoy tenía el tiempo, estaba de ánimo y la verdad hace muchos meses que no lo hacía, la última vez fue como en octubre para un evento al que mi esposo y yo asistimos y bueno me provocó planchármelo para disfrutarlo, pues yo me arreglo para mí y para mi esposo. Me gusta sentirme bien conmigo misma y sé que a él le encanta cuando yo me siento así.
Today I had the time, I was in the mood and the truth is that I haven't done it for many months, the last time was in October for an event that my husband and I attended and well it made me iron it to enjoy it, because I dress up for me and for my husband. I like to feel good about myself and I know he loves it when I feel that way.
Agarré mi coleta, mi plancha y mi peiné y comencé el trabajo. Como tengo el cabello tan largo y abundante, yo lo divino con una cola y voy sacando de abajo hacia arriba mechones para ir planchando los paulatinamente.
I grabbed my ponytail, flat iron and comb and started the job. Since my hair is so long and abundant, I have my hair in a ponytail and I take out strands from the bottom to the top and flat iron them gradually.
Parece algo sencillo y rápido, pero la verdad me gusta que quede bien planchado y eso lleva tiempo y para no maltratarme el cabello lo hago con calma para que el calor de la plancha no sea tan agresivo con mi cabello.
It seems simple and quick, but the truth is that I like it to be well ironed and that takes time and to avoid damaging my hair, I do it calmly so that the heat of the iron is not so aggressive with my hair.
Como dije al principio esta actividad siempre la evito y me da poco de flojera llevarla a cabo, pero una vez que voy avanzada y empiezo a ver el resultado me entusiasmo y la termino súper contenta y nunca me arrepiento, porque así como disfruto muchísimo mi cabello al natural también me gusta mucho mi cabello liso planchado, sobretodo cuando lo tengo tan largo como lo tengo ahorita.
As I said at the beginning I always avoid this activity and it makes me a little bit lazy to do it, but once I go ahead and start to see the result I get excited and I finish it super happy and I never regret it, because just as I enjoy my natural hair I also like my straightened hair very much, especially when I have it as long as I have it right now.
