I wouldn't count on "AI doctors" taking over any time soon. Expert systems are used in medicine for over 50 years and despite showing results comparable or better than human doctors, real people are still who makes decisions, even if the application helps in running medical procedure in a consistent way, in accordance to best medical practices.
Personally I think we can only count on "googling the symptoms" to show diagnosis closer to actual problem, but in the end we'll still need to see the actual doctor. Doctors will frown upon patients coming with such diagnosis just as they do today (despite using the method themselves :o) ).

Your forecast could be right. We are talking about crystal balls here and who has the one that is the clearest. As they say about forecasting, it is a race to be the least wrong.
That said, I dont bet against the pace of things. One variable is healthcare (and education) are highly regulated. That will provide protection for the status quo.
