Nothing Is More Profitable Than A Sick Child!

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently spoke about how the healthcare system profits from keeping people sick. He said that nothing is more profitable in today’s society than a sick child because many industries make money from them. Insurance companies, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and what he called the "medical cartel" all benefit financially. Instead of curing diseases, they create lifelong customers. He explained that they don’t want to kill people, but they also don’t want them to get better, so they keep them sick for as long as possible.

He compared today’s situation to when his uncle, John F. Kennedy, was president. At that time, only six percent of Americans had chronic diseases, but now that number has jumped to sixty percent. He also pointed out that when his uncle was in office, the cost of treating chronic diseases was zero because there were no drugs for them. Today, the cost has skyrocketed to about four trillion dollars, and he believes none of it is necessary.

Kennedy also discussed autism rates, saying that in 1960, autism was rare. Studies from that time estimated that the highest rate was around one in fifteen hundred children, with some reports suggesting it was as low as one in ten thousand. Now, according to the CDC, one in thirty-four children is diagnosed with autism. In some states, like California, Utah, and New Jersey, the number is even higher, with one in twenty-two children affected.

He expressed concern that these children should be the highest-performing members of society, but instead, they struggle with serious disabilities that leave them dependent for life. His message was clear, something has changed, and he believes the rise in chronic diseases and autism is no accident, but rather a result of a system designed to profit from illness instead of preventing or curing it.
