Hive Success Book: It's Not About You!

I've known Hive for longer than three years now, also tried Steemit for a very long time, and the one thing we can all agree on is that Hive is completely different than traditional social media platforms.

One thing that took me so long to learn was: It's not about you. It's about networking with like-minded people, getting to know how other people live completely different lives, have completely different interests, and opposing opinions.

Because Hive focuses on the quality of posts and sharing genuine stories, Hive I believe has the greatest content on the internet. Videos, photos, and most importantly stories from people all over the world. Unlike other social media platforms, people aren't here to fake their lives and pretend to be people they're not.

At first, I kept just posting non stop and thinking that success on Hive is posting the best content. But, it's also about curating other content and engage with other people's posts. In shorter words, it shouldn't be about you, it's about the community.
