Espero que su fin de semana haya sido excelente. El mío comenzó bien con dos compromisos sociales que salieron bien. Una fiesta Junina y una cena en casa de una amiga.
Todo esto el sábado, aunque mi problema en realidad comenzó el sábado cuando estaba arreglando el closet de mi hija. Pasé bastante tiempo agachada y cuando me paré me comenzó un dolor bien extraño en la articulación de la cadera.

All this on Saturday, although my problem actually started on Saturday when I was fixing my daughter's closet. I spent a lot of time bent over and when I stood up a strange pain started in my hip joint.
El sábado lo pasé tranquila, evitaba movimientos bruscos para ver si mejoraba. De sábado para domingo pasé una mala noche con ese dolor, porque no hay ninguna posición que se sienta bien ni de lado ni boca arriba. El domingo me desperté tarde y aún con bastante incomodidad.
Pensaba que como ya estaba tomando relajante muscular y antiinflamatorio el dolor iba a pasar. Por el contrario aumentó. Traté de hacer el menor esfuerzo durante el día. En realidad pasé el día descansando entre el sofá y la cama. Para mi cuerpo esto es excelente, pero para mi mente estos días improductivos me dejan loca.
Saturday I spent it quietly, avoiding sudden movements to see if it would improve. From Saturday to Sunday I spent a bad night with that pain, because there is no position that sits well either on my side or on my back. Sunday I woke up late and still in a lot of discomfort.
I thought that since I was already taking muscle relaxant and anti-inflammatory the pain would go away. On the contrary, it increased. I tried to make as little effort as possible during the day. I actually spent the day resting between the couch and the bed. For my body this is excellent, but for my mind these unproductive days leave me crazy.
Cuando me decidí a volver mi día productivo haciendo una torta que me habían encargado, llegó un trabajador de la granja para avisarme que tenía que solucionar un problema.
Salí prácticamente corriendo de la casa con mi hija cargada, cosa que me activa más el dolor, pero en el momento no pensé ni en colocarle zapatos para salir. Esa situación me atrasó la producción de la torta y afortunadamente la persona que me la encargó me dijo que la podía hacer mañana. Menos mal porque de verdad no me sentía nada bien.
When I decided to return to my productive day making a cake that had been ordered for me, a worker from the farm arrived to tell me that he had to solve a problem.
I practically ran out of the house with my daughter in tow, which made me feel even more pain, but at the time I didn't even think of putting shoes on her to go out. That situation delayed the production of the cake and fortunately the person who ordered it for me told me that I could make it tomorrow. Thank goodness because I really did not feel well at all.
Volví a mi casa a arreglarme para ir a la clínica porque ya estaba convencida que el dolor no iría a pasar solo. Antes de salir hablé con mi hija para que se portara bien, que no estuviese caminando por todos lados porque me dolía mucho la pierna para estar atrás de ella.
En el momento que llegamos a la clínica vimos que había muchísimos pacientes. Ya que estaba ahí no me iba a regresar solo porque hubiese mucha gente, así que fui a pedir mi consulta. Cuando pides la cita, das tu nombre, te preguntan el motivo de la consulta, te toman la tensión y la temperatura, y te pesan. Todo lo hace un grupo de enfermeras que siempre están ahí.
I went back home to get ready to go to the clinic because I was already convinced that the pain would not go away by itself. Before leaving I talked to my daughter so that she would behave well, so that she would not be walking everywhere because my leg hurt too much to be behind her.
When we arrived at the clinic we saw that there were a lot of patients. Since I was there I was not going to go back just because there were a lot of people, so I went to ask for my consultation. When you ask for an appointment, you give your name, they ask you the reason for the consultation, they take your blood pressure and temperature, and they weigh you. Everything is done by a group of nurses who are always there.
Desde el momento que hice el triaje hasta que efectivamente me atendieron pasaron casi dos horas, como les dije había mucha gente. El médico me chequeó y por la revisión que me hizo parece que es el nervio ciático que me está molestando.
Me colocó tres inyecciones para calmar mi malestar, un cetoprofeno, betametasona y una dipirona. Además me mandó también cetoprofeno y dipirona por vía oral. Mi hija me estuvo acompañando en todo momento y aunque al principio caminó mucho, en el momento de las inyecciones estaba ahí cuidando a su mamá y dándome su manito. Espero que con esto mejore porque el trabajo de esta semana es bastante pesado. Hasta un nuevo post!

He gave me three injections to calm my discomfort, a ketoprofen, betamethasone and a dipyrone. He also gave me ketoprofen and dipyrone orally. My daughter was with me at all times and although at the beginning she walked a lot, at the time of the injections she was there taking care of her mother and giving me her little hand. Ay amiga, la mejor decisión fue ir al médico, espero que pronto ese dolor sea tratado y que no te duela más para que puedas atender a tu hija y trabajar con los pedidos de las tortas. Que bueno que tu hija te acompañó durante las inyecciones, ami me dan mucho miedo las agujas jajajaja. Saludos!!
