Sweet Potatoes Vine Selling Process

‎AssalamuAlaikum & Greetings Everyone!

It's me @amjadsharif

‎The effects of weather and fog are noticeable, as I told you in my previous blog that I am going to start cutting the sweet potato vines soon, so I have implemented it.

I came to the field in the morning and noticed that there were no buyers there yet. After waiting for a while, the customers started getting excited and started ganging up with me outside. I wanted a game to be sold for more than 800 rupees, but they told me that if you give us at 500 rupees, we will start cutting it.

These are poor people and they do not have enough money and a compassionate person understands their point. Since they have to arrange food for the animals, I have made a deal with them for 500 rupees.

They have started cutting the vines from one side and are collecting them, making bales and loading them on rickshaws, so this is considered a daily activity.

Some of them pay for the vines before cutting them and some people pay after. Some people have demanded that I sell them vines on credit but I have refused them because when these people go away with the loan, it is difficult for them to return it, rather they do not want to return it themselves.

Meanwhile, some brokers have come to me to buy sweet potatoes. They also have a tea kettle in their hands, which is also called a thermos, and they have told me that we want to check the sweet potatoes, so I have allowed them to check.

They have dug the soil with the sickle that was with the vine cutter and have taken out the sweet potatoes from it to see what their size and quantity are, as well as whether they are worth buying. Seeing its color, they were happy and I was quoted a rate between 24 and 25 cents. Ka has said

I want to get a deal with a broker for 2700 to 2800 so that I can sell it to people who are sweet. It is a bit difficult to take it to the market and the landlord does not get a very good rate in the market either.

Hopefully, after dealing with one or two more brokers, I will sell it but I will tell you the details in the next post because I have shared the information I have with you people right now and this is the most difficult task because the rates have fallen a lot at this time due to which it is very difficult to profit from this crop.

Despite the complex state of the economy, I'm so glad you're able to understand and help those who don't have much money.

Sending you my warmest hugs!
