This is my first time participating in Picture A Day Community. I hope I will prefer to write a lengthy article instead of writing 30-50 words here. Because I see that many bloggers write a few words with a picture.
The shrine seen in this picture is of a Sufi Saint named Hazrat Luqman. The ancient shrine is located in the village. The green color of this building indicates its spirituality. It can be guessed from its walls that it is ancient. If you look closely, the white color and red bricks along it indicate that it needs renovation.
The green color of its dome is enough to testify to its spirituality. In Muslim society, shrines are considered centers of spiritual peace, and a large number of people visit them.
Trees are also visible around the shrine, which provides shade in the summer. People visiting the shrine sit in the shade of these trees.
In this picture, you can also see the graves, including a prominent white grave with a white stone on it.
These shrines have always been a place of spirituality. The Urs of Hazrat Khwaja Luqman is also celebrated every year on June 8. Milad, Qawwali, and other spiritual gatherings are organized here, and there is a huge crowd of people. Mela (in the local language) is held here, with sweet shops, children's toy shops, etc.
Sports are also organized on this day and prizes are given to the winning team. Kabaddi is given more importance in it. Which adds charm to this festival. Apart from this, volleyball and cricket matches are also held. A large number of people participate in it and award prizes to their favorite players.
These competitions are held for three to four days to maintain the splendor of the festival.
For this, announcements are also made in different villages or towns and the repair work of the shrine is also done every year, including repairs to damage and paint, etc.
I will share the entire history of this festival with pictures with you. I also invite your friends to join it.
Thank you
