PhotoFeed Contest - Wildlife Photography Round 117 ~ Fantail Pigeons

AssalamuAlaikum & Greetings Everyone!

From #pakistan

It is my good fortune that I am participating in this community through a contest. PhotoFeed Contest - Wildlife Photography Round 117, organized by @photofeed. For today's contest, I have captured some pictures of pigeons. These pigeons appear in the images in different colors.

Pigeons have different breeds, types, and names. I don't know much about pigeons, but after getting some information from a friend, I have come to know that the pigeon whose pictures I am sharing with you now and participating in this contest is called the Fantail Pigeon or Indian Fantail Pigeon. As I told you above, it can be in different colors. Like the one I shared with you in the picture, its color is brownish-brown and its name can be identified by its tail.

Some of these pigeons are black and some are white, and they are busy eating their food at the moment. These are the wheat grains that the pigeons are eating at the moment. You must have also seen a pot kept for water. When they get thirsty, they drink water from here. Fresh water has been kept in this pot, and some even drank water before I took their pictures. A very beautiful house has also been built for these pigeons. A small cage has been made in which nets have been installed so that the inside environment is ventilated and there is no dampness, etc.

A friend of mine kept these pigeons as a hobby and he takes good care of them. Let me tell you that some people are fond of keeping animals or birds and they try their best to fulfill their hobby. For this, they need investment and time. If such people do not have both, they should not do it.

But when I talked to him about it, he told me that my love for birds forces me to make time for them because when you love something, you have to make both time and investment for it. While talking to him, he told me that some of his friends give him birds as gifts and sometimes he sends birds to his friends as gifts. He says that in this way I keep getting different types of birds and I don't need much investment for that and this way my passion is also fulfilled. Caring for birds and taking care of them is proof of how much you love them and your love for these birds shows your love.

I had a debate with my friend for quite some time and we kept talking about birds. Not only did I gain more knowledge, but I also became familiar with the names of these birds.
