Values & Friendships.

To have a friend, you must be a friend, which is why before we seek for values we want from a friend we also should possess such values so that the friendship will continue to bloom and grow.

There are some values I admire and I look out for them in people I call my friends because of course, it's my core values as well.

Moral Decency is one, when I talk about moral decency, I love to associate myself with people who are modest in dressing, people who are well-cultured, polite and kind, and not lousy, I am a very sensitive person and so I watch what comes out of my mouth because I am aware that words can either make or break a person and I love to have friends who share a similar mindset with me.

I am very industrious as well, you can never see me idle, I work so hard, and I do not like to depend on others for money or my needs, it's sad today how so many young ones are now making their relationship with their partner transactive, everything (including their love affair) now depends on money to work, but I do believe in generating my income for myself without the help of the opposite sex which is why I have honed my skill, and thankfully I have a lot of skills and I am masters of them, so I admire friends who take pride in making a legal source of income for themselves.

I wouldn't love to have a person who is lazy or takes begging as a source of income.

Also, one who forgives is something admirable because we are all born imperfect, friendship works better when both parties forgive one another, I do not know how to keep malice and I look out for friends who can talk things out rather than hold on to resentment. Communication is key, sometimes we might offend someone unintentionally, but when it is being communicated, I think half of the problem is solved. It also takes humility to let go of grudges and anger and to even apologize for wrongdoings, so if I can be so humble to want to make the friendship work, I truly want to have people who could do the same.

From childhood, I was taught the power of positivity around someone, you know when you speak life into your existence, things begin to align positively and vice versa, I look out for very optimistic people, people who can see the good in any situation, people who are genuinely happy for you and cheer you on. That's what I do to my friends and so I want the same energy around me. When you have positive people around, life begins to look easier because you have someone you can count on, these positive people are people you can depend on to show up for you at anything, they are loyal and trustworthy.

I love people who are confident in themselves and people who are empathetic ic, a listening ear, and friends who are committed and dedicated to whatever they are doing.

These are some of the values I find attractive in a person before making them my friends.
