Too often we take for granted the blessings of going out and coming back home in safety.

The sight I beheld today got me heavy on gratitude.

It was such a terrible sight that got me deep in thoughts. It could have been me or anyone else. We wake up every day say our prayers, bid our loved ones goodbye , hoping we come back home in peace.
Many do not come back in peace, they got stuck in a situation beyond their control, some even lose their lives while trying to find their daily bread.
It's too sad that I saw a young man fight for his life on a highway today. He got involved in an accident and bled to death instantly.
I was on another bus heading to my school and I captured just a little I could.
The cops were everywhere, which demanded caution while filming the scene.
We really never know which day will be out last here on earth, but what if we lived everyday like it's our last?
What if, we start being more mindful of our life style, live in the moment, love endlessly, explore and do all that brings our soul genuine happiness before it's too late?
What if we stop procrastinating? And do all that our hands find to do. What if we start leaving a positive footprint in the hearts of everyone we meet?
What exactly would we want to be remembered for? We need to start realizing that death is inevitable and one day we too would be gone.
It's about time we faced reality and start acting accordingly.
And any day we go out and come back in one peace, let's seat grateful for the gift of life.
We all hope that we would be able to live long enough to fulfill our purpose here on earth.
It's sad how the world works. Life is damn fickle and like a mist.
Today we are here, the next day we are gone. Today we are rejoicing, the next we are hurting nd it keeps going on like that.
Learn to accept each day as it unfolds. Stay open that anything can actually happen. Be prepared for the worst while hoping for the best. Stay grateful for the big things, the small things and everything in between.
Images used belong to me.

Absolutely, we often overlook the blessing of safety when we leave and return home. Your story is very touching and reminds us to reflect on the value and fragility of life.
That's it. Thanks for stopping by
Thanks
We should cherish every moment and that's what life is about.
That's the goal.
If you have witnessed the sudden death of a love one, you will understand the fickleness of life.
Be good at every moment, life is very unpredictable.
