I can't believe it's been months since I last shared my project here on the blockchain. I think things happened way too fast and I got carried away.
I've been joggling a couple of things together that I saved lots of projects here on my draft but actually forgot to publish them.

How have you been holding on in the new year dear friends? I've missed seeing your beautiful project, and behind the scene. I'll try as much as possible to share as much as I can when I can.

Today, let's focus on Madam Bridget's outfit.
How do you cope when working with a very stretchy fabric? It's usually very challenging if you don't know the right techniques to handle it.
I'll share with you a very simple hack to mitigate stretchy fabric.
First rule is.. Give it structure and always secure with pins before stitching.

Structure helps to stabilize stretchy fabric. How do you give it structure you may wonder..
Well, that's why I'm here. Interface it. Use a cotton airstay as interface for it. And do the same on the lining, I bet you after you've done that, the outfit will have no other choice but to bend to your rules.
I worked with the Lycra fabric and you know how frustrating it can be, especially on a bloyse that needs agility.
She brought in an Ankara print as a touch of elegance on the sleeve and when I was done, the outfit screamed elegance.
I measured my client, after drafting the back bodoce sloper, I did some little alteration on the neckline, giving it the Bishop collar neckline.
I also do not just make the outward appearance of my outfit clean, but I pay more attention to the inside of my project.

The zipper is neatly fixed, the seam line very straight, a matching thread and a neat finishing.

These are what bring more client to me. They love the outfit inside out.

I'm sure you learned a new hack today,so ell me how you'd rather rock yours. On pants or skirt?
