Ever noticed that the word GRACE and GREED are both five lettered words?

I heard a story today I would love to share with you all so that you can see the thin line between Grace and Greed.

An uneducated young lady whom i'll call Kamara for the sake of this write-up recently lost her parent but found favor in the eyes of a many people through a very sweet encounter.

She has a very good voice which got the attention of her neighbours and anyone who made recordings other voice whenever she sings. Kamara's neighbour asked her to make a voice over for her vlog. Kamara did so well, that the voice over went viral which led her to a good person who was willing to give good connections and eventually become her manager without collecting a dime from her. According to Kamara, the woman brought so many gigs which paid her well and even introduced her to a friend who also was into the voice over business.

Kamara's life changed in a twinkle of an eye even though she was an illiterate. She could now afford the luxuries of life and started "living the life."

One day, the friend whom Kamara's manager introduced her to started luring her by offering a better pay for Kamara,implying that Kamara's manager had little connection which gave her little gigs and pay.

"If you choose to work with me, I'll give you better gigs and even get you more connected." These words made Kamara excited that she stopped working with her first manager without any notification.

The new manager, began bringing better gigs as promised but where the problem was, was when she slashed the pay into three and gave Kamara one tenth of the pay. Since Kamara couldn't read she accepted with joy and even signed a deal worth millions, yet all Kamara got was just tens of thousands and the worse part was when the latest manager changed the password of Kamara's social media handle where she usually get gigs from.

Life suddenly changed for Kamara which made it very obvious that she had been cheated on. She tried to log into her social media account but couldn't get access to it. In the verge of attempting to get access into her social media, it led to series of argument between Kamara and her recent manager which eventually led into breaking off the deal with the recent agency. Alas! She was told to her face that she couldn't leave the agency because she has already signed a ten-year deal.

She was stuck because she couldn't go back to her previous and nice manager, and now she was receiving peanuts for deals she could have earned millions from, because her recent manager was duping and keeping all the money to herself.

Do you now see the thin line between Greed and Grace? We must learn to be contended with what we have because some people are just users and they love to take advantage of others as much as they can. The Devil you know is better than the angel you don't know. In the quest of wanting more, many have lost their possession and genuine connections because of greed, when grace find you..take it easy on yourself. Success doesn't come over night, it takes time.
