Too often we hide our true feelings. Beyond the facade, lies pain and untold struggle.
Many people have concluded that somethings are better left unsaid. Well, I guess they've been in situations that shaped them in such manner.
It's sad that people are too quick to judge us. This has made it harder for others to let down their guard and just exoress their thoughts without being criticized for their choices and all. They choose to die in silence, taking it unil they meet their end.
Others have been conditioned to say they are are fine even when truly there's a lot going on.
People fear to be vulnerable because they do not want to get hurt. So they wear a mask to hide their true feelings.
Others have experienced distrust, which is why they also find it hard to open up.
What's the way out? Can the World be more empathetic? Can we just be human?
Can we take off the mask and say it just how we feel it? When next we are asked how we are, can we find the courage to express our thoughts to that one person we find solace in?
Everyone has a mask one, too afraid to trust, too afraid to be open as a book.
It's because of the cruelty of the world. The change we seek begins with us. We all have a part to play to make the next person feel at ease, through our words and action.
Let's live and let others live too!

We all need that one person.
Is it really good that asking how someone is became a popular greeting? In particular in times and places where the answer wouldn't be appropriate. It's a great way to start a conversation to catch up with a friend or family member in private, or in a close group. Not so much in some settings though, which forces them to say they're fine.
