Hello Needle Workers, hope you're ready for another great week?

Inspiration comes in a very weird way, haha.. Have you ever been inspired in your sleep before?

My story will make you laugh, kindly journey with me while I tell it all.

Last week Wednesday was the busiest so far, as I had a lot of things to keep up with, firstly, I was going to attend a three days convention which was going to keep me absent from home and of course I needed to look good for the convention so I began to think about a very fast style to make for myself.

I began to surf the net for something nice but none got my eyes and then I found one style I like but I didn't like the neckline, the reason I didn't like the neckline was because I've had the neckline on the style before , so I didn't want to repeat styles.

I just packed the fabrics and went to sleep, knowing I had just Thursday to make whatever I hope to make.

As I was sleeping, my mind was wandering, and then I just imagined something in my head, I quickly jumped up from the bed , brought our my pen and jotter to sketch it in reality, viola I loved it and I couldn't want for morning to cut the cloth.

As soon as it was daybreak, I just hopped on the fabric and began to cut, actually it was just something simple I could make within one or two hours so that I could take care of other things in the house before leaving for my convention as I would be lodging Thursday night.

The fabric is an African print but looks really beautiful and if you're not told it's an African print, you wouldn't know as it's not the regular design most African Prints have.

Here is the fabric, I quickly cut it as a off-shoulder neckline and thankfully I had a left over of crepe fabrics in the house to attach to the neckline and sleeves as visualized in my dreams.

It's a maxi big dress with A line sleeves , it took me exactly an hour and thirty minutes to cut and sew the dress, and it came out really nicely.
