Long Lasting Memory Since Childhood

There are memories from childhood that can hardly be forgotten or faded away, no matter how old you become. For me, no big deal or I say it’s not even something proud or fancy it’s just those simple days when life was soft and playful. I remember how we used to run around in the evening, barefoot, chasing each other after school like we had no single worry in the world.

I just want to share this beautiful memories that I remember there it was this old mango tree behind our house, and that tree saw all our secrets. We’d climb it, fall, laugh, fight, and still go back the next day it's very sure when it turns to the season of mango so Sometimes, we’d even compete on who can throw a stone the highest to bring down a ripe mango. Funny enough, the smallest one among us always had the best aim.

I remember my mum shouting from the kitchen, calling me to come home and eat, but I’d pretend not to hear until she came out with that “you will see me later” face. Childhood was just pure stress and worries free no bills, no pressure and no problem, just joy from small things like rain falling or seeing ice cream man passing.

Even now, as an adult, whenever I smell dust after rainfall, it takes me straight back to those days playing in the rain with friends, especially when it comes to football in the rain, making paper boats, laughing until our bellies hurt. We didn’t even know what happiness was, yet we lived it every single day.

Sometimes I wish I could go back, just for one afternoon, to play those silly games again hide and seek, ten-ten, suwe, or football with a plastic bottle. Those moments shaped me without me even knowing.

Childhood memories are like tiny treasures we carry in our hearts. The more we remember the more the sweetest those memories are. They remind us of where we came from and the joy of simple living. No matter how hard life gets now, thinking about those times always makes me smile.

Because some memories never grow old they just live quietly inside us, waiting for us to remember again.
