Successful spendHBD marketing at Lagos state university that added 4 newbies to Hive

Greetings everyone, I welcome you all to my blog, I want to share with you how we went for marketing and how successful it was.
On Monday happens to be one of the marked out days in the week our team on Hive always go for SpendHBD marketing, which took place at university of Lagos state that added 4 newbies to hive.

As already discussed in the WhatsApp group that we will be going for marketing on Monday, it made it more easier for me to set my plan for the week and prepare on time. I woke early in the morning do my chores, bath and took my breakfast and hit the road. Though my drive to the venue wasn't a stressful one, I got there on and I met with my team.

Getting at the University I met with the newbies that was onboarded last week Monday and they were encouraged and enlightened more on hive keychain. I was happy at the progress so far since the joined hive community. They were very active on snaps and waves which made them to be on leaderboard. I chatted with with them a bit and I took a selfie with them.

So from there I and my team we went for hunt in search of new souls for Hive, luckily for us the first students we approached gave us a listening ear without stress. I spoke with them to educate them about Hive, how hive it's different from other centralized social media platforms, they are already familiar with Facebook, X and tiktok, which made it easier for them to understand and coupled with the branded hive T-shirt, cap and flyers even made more easier.

We also educate them why hive is different from every other decentralized platform and other social media platforms, letting them know that in hive they have their page to themselves, how they can't be restricted or banned. Also enlightened them the importance of posting and creating their own original content and that AI contents are not acceptable in Hive. Lastly that Hive platform is not where you will just join today and get rich today, we let them know that it's a gradual process that with consistency and hardwork they will achieve their aim.

With the help of the team and I, we showed them how to download Hive keychain from play store which the first thing for a newbie to open, then the download Ecency and waves. Then after they were onboarded by @beauty197 with @checkinwith.xyz to check them in hive blockchain. From there we helped them to set their profile pictures, and also helped them to post their first short content on snaps and waves.

My heart was filled with joy that these newbies that joined Hive family, @anuoluwapo21, @danieo22, @maverick290 and lastly @kikicakes. Despite the network failure, am grateful it was a successful outreach.

So by next week Monday again by his grace we will come back for a follow up to check on them to know their progress and teach them how to engage on journey of newbies course which will help them learn more things on hive and from there hunt for more newbies.

At the end of the market we had a little refreshment from the snack we bought from one of the newbie, at least to support her business.

My dream and aim is that Hive will grow and spread the whole world and that is why am willingly trying to achieve this by marketing Hive to my community and everyone around me. Provided help stays and I have also come to stay forever and no turning back.
