LOH- CONTEST #262; How we handle our household responsibilities and finances.

Hello ladies from #ladiesofhive, hope you are doing great and safe. I welcome you to my blog and am glad to participate in this week's contest.

Sharing of household chores and finances can cause a problem or fight to some partners while some spouse they discuss and share how they can balance it in a way it can favor them.

In my home, ever since my husband and I got married, there is nothing like "mine" or "yours" , it ended immediately we got married, everything became "OURS" and that has been working for us.
My husband earns more than I, i was working before now not until we relocated to another city. He has been the one taken care of our bills and i support him with my little earning here. We have an account where he pays in money for us to use to take care of our expenses, to send to our parents and settle other necessities when they comes out.

In all these we trust ourselves when it comes to finances, money has never been an issue to cause any quarrel and there's transparency between us. It has helped us for years since we been married. Through all these there has never been any thought of "who is really paying for this or that" because we are a team and in this together forever.

When it comes to household chores, i do majority of the house chores, cooking, filling of gas and getting our groceries because I stay mostly at home while he goes to work. But during the weekends or holidays when he is at home he helps out in the house chores. When it comes to cooking he cooks well, i mostly enjoy his signature sardines stew and melon soup that tastes good and delicious 😋.

Partner or spouse can achieve a balanced and fulfilled house chores and finance by working together and having a good and open communication.

That's great that they have such a healthy relationship and share expenses. A marriage is a team, so using the word “our” is ideal. Best regards.

Partner who enjoys cooking when home is a bonus to many ladies, financing together without question also goes a long way.
