this week was the fair of the orchids in the distribution of the cuevita, a place that has grown in terms of colors and orchids is about, this is the fair num. 15 but for me the first to which I go, I loved the place, very modest, but so full of colors, each orchid represented by a number to make it easier when it comes to throw them in this contest

It is a magical place full of people lovers and connoisseurs of these beautiful plants, get to this place is to fill you with all kinds of experiences, always everyone tries to help giving you the tips that most facilitated the cultivation of these plants, they are wonderful people like each of the orchids that I found here.

The hardest thing for me about this fair was to stop myself from buying them all and taking them home with me, here I found out that there are also succulent festivals and captus another one that I will love to participate because they are also one of my favorites, and I have a great variety of them at home, but as a good plant person as I have discovered they say to the people who take care of their gardens, there are never enough plants.

The three winners of the different specialties were 1- rarest orchid 2- the best committed gardener and 3- the new gardening revelation, and the winner could choose the orchid of his preference, it was a contest full of healthy rivalry and happiness for the winners, it is a great family that unites their great passion for plants, I felt very happy to get to this place and I hope to continue here in this family.

1st prize rarest orchid

2do award the best committed gardener

3er award for new gardener revelation

Until now the neighborhood of La Cuevita was considered a marginal neighborhood but this space has returned the colors to this place, many people from this area came to the fair and were very satisfied with, the children also because a girl was dedicated to explain curiosities about orchids and to encourage them this love for them.

A raffle was also held, with the aim that the money raised would be used to make arrangements to the place where the orchids are exhibited, the raffle consisted of the winner of the raffle on the first day of the fair taking a Demdrobium taurinoantelatum and a green flowering demdrobium, with a cost of 70 and 200 pesos respectively and the person who bought more numbers regardless of whether they won or not took an orchid of another species and the second day had the same characteristics of the raffle but with another variety of cataleyas orchids

The next fair is in January and is open to anyone who wants to come and learn about the care of these beautiful and delicate plants or just to spend a nice time.
