Five Minute Freewrite: The Landowner
For a decade now Jake has been farming on this particular portion of land without even knowing who the owner is. Many neighbours to the land have been seeing him farm there without also asking him who permitted him to do so.
It however appears to everyone that the real landonwer may have passed away without anybody knowing.
The land also appears to be more fertile than the rest of the portions of land within that locality.
Jake has gone ahead to plant both plants and other economic trees on the land. It was the season of harvesting avocadoes. Jake had also planted some alongside other ones on the land.
As the harvesting was going on a brown coloured SUV pulled up and parked by the corner of the land. The driver refused to alight and remained in the vehicle for a considerable length of time.
Having observed the much he wanted he decided to come down and approach however that was in the farm. Jake approached him and within few minutes of conversation he realized that he was discussing with the landowner. He apologized profusely for entering into the and without permission. The man simply nodded his approval and walked away.
