Five Minute Freewrite: Ivory Tower

Jones left home in search of greener pastures. For the first two weeks he could not acclimatize with his new environment. The weather has not been friendly with him. Most times, after his job hunt in the cold weather he will look for a place to keep him warm.

But after awhile he got a place with a fireplace, a night bar. He does not drink but had not choice but t go in, grab some bottles and keep himself warm. That fireplace appears to be his ivory tower.

At the fireplace in the bar, he was able to get a few friends who helped him secure the much needed job.

Few months in the job he was also able to adapt quickly to life - the weather, food and people around.
