Five Minute Freewrite: Guide Me Home

Source

On a cold saturday Jennie was returning home from the market. It has rained heavily few hours ago. Everyone was rushing home to stay close to the fireplace.

Few metres away from her gate Jennie saw a dog, a stray one for that matter gently seated at the corner of the gate. It looked as if it was begging Jennie to take it home.

Jennie was touched and gave the stray dog a sign and it slowly rose up and whisked its tail. Jennie took it in and both went to the fireplace to keep warm.

Having settled down, Jennie sent a message in the neighbourhood group directing anyone looking for his or her stray dog to visit her home and take the dog.

In less than an hour, Jones came along to claim the dog. Jennie obliged him and he took his dog home.

En un día lluvioso, que le brinden un espacio cerca de la chimenea es el mejor acto que se puede hacer por un ser vivo. Excelente post

My husband used to take our Beagle dog fishing with him. One day a thunderstorm developed and my husband put his boat under someone's dock for cover. The dog jumped out and ran off. My husband had to find him after the storm. He knocked on doors until he found him. A lady took him in and he had food, water, and a warm blanket to wait out the storm while my husband was under a dock in it.

Wow, that's so kind of the lady. Sometimes these pets behave in ways we may not even explain. Glad he has food and shelter till your husband arrives.

My husband said he was sitting under a dock in the pouring rain and lightning and he worried about where the dog was, and all that time the dog was dry, fed, and warm inside someone's house. Yes, it was very nice of the lady to take him in.
