The two wearing communities kept fighting on all fronts over the disputed peninsula. Many people had intervened to see if the border dispute will be resolved amicably but all to no avail.
Kannne is a diplomat with the UN. His community is heavily involved in the crisis. As a means to curtail the advancement of the enemies they decided to dig a trench round the border towns. To them this will reduce the aerial and terrestrial advancement of the enemy.
But that was not to be for the other warning party has advanced war tools and equipment. They need not come closer to launch an attack.
Kannne used his diplomatic connections to reduce the tension. However, all was thinking that he will quell the crisis completely with his position.
After many months of land and aerial attacks the situation was quietened and normalcy started returning. People started going to farm and other businesses. Life within and around the border communities started to pick up gradually. At the end everyone realised that war isn't the best answer to any misunderstanding.
