Max attended a business meeting of the top executives of his bank at their national headquarters. The meeting became extremely necessary following the slow takeoff of many newly established branches across the country. Most supervising managers were alleged to have turned blind eyes to loan facilities granted to customers without proper collateral attached. The bank was suffering seriously.

The meeting was meant to last for six hours and for just a day. Max left home quite early and boarded a cab that took him to the airport. He arrived well on time and while at the venue some of his friends were already there before the scheduled time for the meeting. Max joined them in their conversation and while they discussed arrays of topics including politics Max was just listening to them while contributing little.

Soon the meeting began and the already known agenda was thrown open. Deliberations on them initially started well but at some point it became hot and toxic. The MD/CEO had to adjourn the meeting. When it was reconvened Max knew that he won't be heading home thereafter. It was already late.

The deliberations on the second time was more fruitful. The defaulting managers were disciplined with two even released or their duties. Max was not among the defaulters.

After the meeting Max had to return to his hotel room, to jet out the next day. When he got to his door, he could not open same. He had forgotten the code or something. He tried all he could but the security door refused to open. He had to call the attention of the hotel management who informed him that there was a security breach which made them reset all passwords and codes used for locking in the hotel.

A new one was given to Max which he tried and it worked almost immediately. He could have been saved of the ugly incident if he had used his fingerprints for locking. Max dares that and so did not use it but only the codes.
