#GhanaMusic #RecordBreaker
December 2024 is going to be lit in Kumasi! Afua's coming back stronger with another shot at the world record.
Good news - Guinness World Records has already given Afua the green light for her second attempt. Things looking promising!
Smart move choosing Kumasi for round 2. The support from Ashanti region will be massive.
Her team is checking out different spots in Kumasi to find the perfect place for the singathon.
Remember her first try last December? She sang for 126 hours! Even though it didn't count, that was impressive.
She's using her role as tourism ambassador really well. This event will bring lots of attention to Kumasi.
There's going to be a press conference soon to give us all the details about the new singathon.
Fun fact: Afua used to try out for beauty pageants! She even auditioned for Ghana's Most Beautiful.
Her first attempt brought Ghana together. Everyone was cheering her on. Can't wait to see it happen again!
Big difference between this try and last time - she knows exactly what rules to follow now.
Wonder what songs she'll pick this time? Her playlist will need to be super long.
The timing is perfect - December is festival season in Ghana. More people can come support.
She's still trying to beat Sunil Waghmare's record. That's the goal she's aiming for.
Love how she said failure isn't stopping her. That's the mindset we need to see more of!
Its interesting how she's mixing tourism with entertainment. I think it's a Smart way to promote Ghana.
Her first attempt got everyone talking about Ghana worldwide. This one might do even better.
She's doing all the homework this time - checking locations, planning better. Good strategy.
She has turned a setback into a comeback. That's real determination!
Stonebwoy's talking to the Grammys about his new album Up And Runnin6! He says it's gonna bring back those original African vibes we've been missing. 🔥 #AfroBeats #GhanaMusic
Love how Stonebwoy's getting artists from all over for this album. He's got people from Ghana, Nigeria, London, and even South Florida jumping on tracks!
This new album seems like it's picking up right where 5th Dimension left off. Remember how fire that Angelique Kidjo collab was?
Really cool to see Larruso made it onto the album. Always good when big artists show love to upcoming talent from Ghana.
Stonebwoy's really thinking about what fans want. Says people are craving that authentic Ghanaian sound mixed with modern beats.
The way Jejereje blew up makes so much sense now - Stonebwoy knew exactly what we needed! That authentic African sound hits different.
Duncan Mighty is on the album. Nigerian x Ghanaian collabs always bring the heat.
Smart move making this album connect with 5th Dimension. Building on what works instead of starting from scratch.
Love that he's working with Amaria BB from London. It's Gonna be interesting to hear how their styles mix together.
Been following Stonebwoy since day one and it's amazing seeing him get Grammy recognition now. Pure talent!
Got a feeling this album's gonna be even bigger than 5th Dimension. The features list is crazy stacked!
The timing of this Grammy feature is perfect right before the album drops. Smart promo move!
Kaylan Arnold from South Florida on the track list and I think it's going to bring some fresh vibes to the mix.
I really respect how Stonebwoy's staying true to his roots while still pushing forward with his sound.
Feeling proud seeing a Ghanaian artist get this level of recognition from the Grammys.
John Dumelo showed up at Justine Agbenu's funeral today. He's known her family for years - turns out her grandma is close with him and his dad. Really sad situation. #GhanaNews #CelebNews
At the funeral, Dumelo spoke about how we need to be more careful on the roads. That East Legon accident could have been avoided.
The accident happened when a 16-year-old crashed his mom's Jaguar into another car. Two 12-year-old girls lost their lives. So heartbreaking.
Dumelo wants speed bumps put in on that East Legon road where the crash happened. He says it'll stop people from driving too fast.
The funeral was held at Christ the King Parish. Lots of tears as people said goodbye to young Justine.
Dumelo had a serious message for parents - keep an eye on your kids. Don't let them get out of hand.
During his chat with Kofi Adoma, Dumelo kept saying how this whole thing should teach us all a lesson about being responsible.
The two girls who died were Justine Agbenu and Maame Dwomoh Boateng. Both just 12 years old.
The teen driver was Bishop Salifu Amoako's son. He was driving his mother's car when everything went wrong.
Dumelo's not just an actor now and he's running for parliament in Ayawaso West Wuogon. He is using his voice to push for change.
The crash caused a huge fire when the Jaguar hit the Acura.
Dumelo said bad behavior in kids can hurt others if parents don't step in early enough.
Lots of people showed up to support the families at the funeral. It shows how much these girls meant to everyone.
The accident has sparked a bigger conversation about teen driving in Ghana.
People at the funeral were saying we need stricter rules about who can drive and when.
Everyone's hoping some good can come from this tragedy - maybe better road safety rules.
Dumelo seemed really affected by all this, probably because he knew the family personally. I don't know if it's also for political reasons. What's your opinion?
Just turned 62 but still looking fresh! Akrobeto says it's because he doesn't stress himself out. He only does what he can and keeps a peaceful mind. I love his approach to life!

Big nose = no flu. Akrobeto claims he's never had a cold because his nose has plenty of space. Says he's 'free-to-air' 😄 Man's got jokes

Some people try to touch Akrobeto's nose when they meet him! Can you imagine? He says he's started cursing those who make fun of it though 😅
Akrobeto's next birthday is November 18th. He's proud of maintaining his good looks as he approaches his 62nd year
There was this funny moment on a movie set with Akrobeto and Kobby Stonne comparing nose sizes. Akrobeto insists his is smaller!
Love how Akrobeto handles the nose jokes. He says some people stop to tell him he's handsome while others just want to touch his nose!
Akrobeto's secret to looking good at 62? No pressure, no overthinking, just living life on his own terms
Akrobeto's out here living his best life at 62, unbothered by what people say about his looks. That's the energy we need!
Imagine being so blessed that your nose prevents you from getting the flu! Only Akrobeto could come up with that one
That movie set story with Kobby Stonne sounds hilarious! You need to see these nose comparison scenes

After Getting All The Money We Forget We Need Peace Of Mind Too - Efya
Ghana Police Service Arrested Bishop Salifu Amoako And Wife Mouha Amoako Over Son's Accident.....
The investigation further indicates that three of the five victims in the Acura vehicle during the accident were rescued, and the other two identified as Justine Agbenu and Maame Dwomoh, both 12 years of age, lost their lives.....
Politicians in Ghana are avoiding the galamsey issue because they're scared of losing votes. Many party leaders actually make money from illegal mining. Pretty messed up when you think about it.
#GhanaPolitics #Galamsey
Prof Karikari gave a powerful speech at University of Ghana where he questioned how well our democracy is working. He straight up asked "I'm sure we all have many questions about the democracy of the 4th Republic." Makes you wonder if the system is really serving the people.
The public lecture was held to remember Akoto Ampaw, a human rights lawyer who passed away last year.
this is Ghana's 9th election in the 4th Republic but big issues like illegal mining are still being swept under the rug.
CDD-Ghana and the Institute of African Studies teamed up to organize this important talk about our democracy.
Prof Karikari is leading a group called Friends of Akoto Ampaw. They seem really focused on fixing Ghana's democratic problems.
The theme of the lecture was all about civic citizenship in Ghana's democracy. Really makes you think about where we're heading.
The lecture happened at University of Ghana yesterday. Good to see these conversations happening at our top schools.
Ghana's facing a serious crisis in civic citizenship according to the lecture. We need more people speaking up about this.
Prof Karikari didn't hold back - he straight up called out political parties for their silence on important issues.
The timing of this lecture is perfect with elections coming up. Voters need to hear this stuff.
The 4th Republic has some serious problems that need fixing, especially with political accountability.
Seems like votes matter more to politicians than actually solving the galamsey problem.
The lecture raises good questions about what kind of democracy we really have in Ghana.
Party leaders are benefiting from illegal mining while pretending it's not an issue is peak hypocrisy.

The court has ordered OSP to give Cecilia Dapaah's statements to her former house help. This is big because it could help reveal the truth about the missing money. #CourtCase #Justice
Patience Botwe's lawyers fought hard to get these documents. They say they need them to properly question Dapaah and her husband in court.
The OSP tried to block the release of these documents, saying it wasn't the right time. But the judge didn't buy that excuse.
Judge Marie-Louis Simmons made it clear - everyone has the right to defend themselves properly in court. That's why she ordered the documents to be shared.
there are different stories about where the stolen money came from. These documents might help clear things up.
The court said no to sharing interview recordings and transcripts though. They felt those weren't needed right now.
OSP has just one week to hand over those documents.
The Right to Information Act didn't help Botwe get the documents at first. She had to go to court instead.
This case involves a former minister's house help and missing money
The judge mentioned Article 19 of our constitution, showing how serious they are about fair trials.
There seem to be some gaps in Dapaah and her husband's stories about the money. These documents might fill those gaps.
Initially the OSP tried to say the court couldn't handle this request. The judge proved them wrong.
Botwe's legal team made a strong case about needing these statements for cross-examination.
Sometimes you have to fight through the courts to get what you legally deserve

Heated debate in Ghana's politics! MP Kennedy Agyapong just called out Gabby Otchere-Darko for acting like a "hidden PM". Says he's got too much power just because he's related to the President. This is getting interesting...
#GhanaPolitics #NPPDebate
Otchere-Darko hit back today! Says he's not the big shot everyone thinks he is. "I just give advice like I always have - that's all." Wonder if anyone's buying that?
Ghana's got bigger problems than this drama. Jobs are scarce, prices are high, but our MPs are busy fighting about who's got more power. Come on guys!
Otchere-Darko's been around multiple governments. He's like that guy who knows everyone but claims he's just hanging out in the background.
Parliament's getting tense! NPP and NDC can't seem to agree on anything these days. Empty seats causing more drama than a TV show.
how much power should non-elected people have in running the country? That's the real question nobody's answering
family connections can stir up so much trouble in politics. Agyapong's not holding back on calling it out though!
Seems like Otchere-Darko wants everyone to focus on fixing the economy. But is that just a way to dodge the criticism?
While these big shots argue about who's running the show, Ghana's waiting for actual solutions to real problems. Time to get priorities straight!

Just saw an old video pop up of Bagbin taking shots at Mahama. He wasn't holding back about how Mahama ran things back then. Pretty wild to see this making rounds again! #GhanaPolitics #NDC
Bagbin really went in on how he thinks Mahama messed up running the country. Makes you wonder what was going on behind the scenes during those days.
After all that heat, Bagbin came out saying he wasn't trying to tear Mahama down. Says he just wanted to make NDC stronger.
Even if Bagbin came off harsh, seems like he was trying to fix things from the inside. That's what real leaders do, right? Or maybe he has realized the NDC might win this election so wants to be in a safe zone

The beauty of NSMQ - it's not over until the last riddle is answered. Tamasco proved that today with their incredible comeback.

Ghana's Black Stars just dropped 3 spots in FIFA rankings. They're now 73rd in the world. Tough times for our national team, especially after those games against Sudan. 🇬🇭⚽️ #GhanaFootball #BlackStars
The team hasn't won a single game in their AFCON qualifying group. That's 4 matches without a win
Looking at the numbers in Group F - Ghana only has 2 points from 4 games. Angola's already qualified while Sudan just needs one point to join them.
Otto Addo still thinks Ghana can make it to AFCON 2025. But they'll need to win both remaining games and hope Sudan loses theirs.
Next up for Ghana is a tough away game in Luanda against Angola. After that, they'll face Niger at home in Accra.
Could be making history, but not the good kind. Ghana hasn't missed an AFCON tournament since 2004. That's a 20-year streak at risk.
Sudan really shook things up when they beat Ghana in that recent qualifier. Changed the whole group dynamic.
Two matches left to save their AFCON dreams. Both games are must-wins now
Angola's been the surprise package in this group. They've already booked their ticket to Morocco 2025
The Black Stars' form lately has been concerning. Each FIFA ranking update seems to bring more bad news.
The final home game against Niger might not even matter if results don't go Ghana's way before then.
this could be the first time many young Ghanaians see their team miss an AFCON.

Berla Mundi's husband David Tabi just had his first birthday as a married man! They made the cutest video together, copying Agradaa's funny English gospel song. You can really see how happy they are together.
#GhanaianCouples #CelebrationVibes
Just found out David Tabi studied at some really good schools - Lincoln School in London and Wilfred Laurier University in Canada. No wonder he's such a successful businessman!
It's been 10 months since their January wedding and they're still keeping things private. Love how they manage to stay low-key despite being in the public eye.
Have you seen those arms though? David's looking super fit in that birthday video. The comments section is going crazy about his physique!
their love story started with friends and family playing matchmaker without them knowing!
People in the comments are calling them couple goals. One fan even wrote "No breathing space for singles this year 2024" - so true!
David (aka Mr T) seems like such a cool guy. He's not afraid to be silly on camera with his wife, even though he's this big businessman.
The way Berla shared this moment with her fans feels really special, especially since they usually keep their relationship private.

Prince Ganaku got disqualified from Young Lawyers Forum election today. Really tough news for him and his supporters. Waiting to hear the full story behind this. #LegalNews #GhanaLaw
lot of people didn't expect this. Prince was part of the Democracy Hub legal team and helped defend those #StopGalamsey protesters.
The Electoral Commission sent him an email with "Notice of Disqualification" as the subject. Must have been hard reading that.
His response was really humble. Said he and his team need time to figure out next steps. No drama, just taking it like a pro.
His lawyers haven't decided what to do yet. Might be some legal action coming up.
Prince's work with Democracy Hub made him pretty popular. Maybe that had something to do with all this?
People on X (Twitter) are really upset about this. Everyone's saying the system is trying to stop him.
His supporters are saying this won't be the end. They want him to keep fighting.
Nobody seems to know the real reason for the disqualification. Everything's still under wraps.
Some folks think this is connected to his work with Democracy Hub. Just rumors though.
The way Prince handled this news shows real class. No angry posts, just thanked his supporters.
Young Lawyers Forum elections are usually pretty straightforward. This is unusual.

A Togolese man caught mining illegally in Ghana will spend 18 years in jail. He was doing galamsey in Akyem Mouso, Eastern Region. Really shows how serious Ghana is getting about stopping illegal mining.
#Galamsey #Justice
The judge didn't go easy on him - gave him hard labor on top of the jail time. Makes you think twice about destroying the environment for quick money.
he straight up admitted to doing illegal mining. Usually people try to deny or make excuses.
This happened in Atewa West District - an area that's been hit hard by galamsey. Its good to see the courts taking action.
The guy was charged with two things - plotting to mine illegally and mining without proper papers. Both are serious crimes.
18 years is a long time to sit in prison. Hope this warns others thinking about getting into galamsey.
This arrest was part of a bigger operation to catch illegal miners and it shows the police are actively working on this.
Local communities suffer the most from galamsey - their water gets polluted and land destroyed.
This kind of punishment might actually help save some of Ghana's forests and rivers from destruction

Two teenagers have been found guilty of the murder of a 10-year-old boy, Ishmael Abdallah, in Kasoa, Ghana. This case, which occurred in 2021, has left many in shock due to the nature of the crime and the involvement of young minors. #KasoaMurder #JusticeForIshmael
The High Court reached its verdict nearly three years after the brutal killing. It was a difficult trial that gripped the nation and brought widespread attention to the dangers of ritual killings.
Nicholas Kini, who was 18 at the time of the crime, has been sentenced to life in prison for his involvement in Ishmael's murder.
The other suspect, who was only 15 when the crime took place, will not be sentenced by the High Court because of his age. Instead, a juvenile court will handle his sentencing.
This tragic crime was linked to a misguided attempt to gain wealth through ritual means. The teens believed that the killing could bring them riches, showing the disturbing impact of harmful beliefs.
One of the teenagers admitted that he was influenced by a video of a spiritualist who promised money if they provided GH¢5,000 and human blood. This confession was central to the trial.
The teens lured Ishmael to an uncompleted building under the pretense of playing a video game. Once there, they launched their attack
The pathologist confirmed that the boy died from asphyxiation after being struck with a stick and crushed with cement blocks.
The trial featured seven prosecution witnesses, including the father of the victim, police officers, and family members of the accused. Their testimonies helped paint a complete picture of the crime.
Richard Mensah, the father of the first accused, shared that his son had confessed to the murder and implicated Nicholas Kini as well.
The sister of the first accused testified that she saw her brother and Nicholas Kini at the crime scene on the day Ishmael was killed.
During the trial, the first accused admitted to conspiracy but denied committing murder. On the other hand, Nicholas Kini consistently claimed that he was not involved at all.
The gruesome details of this case have left many questioning how teenagers could commit such an act. It has led to discussions about mental health and moral education
there is hope that the justice system will continue to address ritual killings and work towards protecting vulnerable children from exploitation.
