After several months of drought, the rain has come beating the drums of victory. I left my on-call shift on Friday morning, and already the clouds had started to turn gray. Only a few minutes after arriving home, it started pouring rain.

Surely they will not be able to do all the errands and outings they have planned for this couple of days. However, I think that deep down, everyone is wishing for this to happen. For me, it's all about a weekend of peace and quiet with my wife. It has been several weeks since her breaks have coincided with mine. Both she and I have been working a lot.

So if the weather forecasts come true, we will have series and movie marathons booked to enjoy together in bed. A bit boring, some might say. I don't mind. We are happy with these little activities..

But if it doesn't rain? No problem. We will have the opportunity to go for a walk and relax in the street. I just wish there were a lot of clouds, because with the sun of the past few days it would be better not to negotiate.
