Recipe : Radish Top Pesto // Pesto de fanes de radis [EN/FR]

A few weeks ago, @genesisledger's parents came over for dinner and brought a radish top pesto. We loved it!
And we really wanted to try their recipe again! Especially now, if you regularly follow @genesisledger's posts, you probably know that our plants are growing well and we've harvested our first radishes đ

So we used the radish tops to make a homemade pesto!
And I'm going to share with you the recipe I followed to fill about half a jam jar đ
Ingredients

- About 40 radish tops
- 1 garlic clove;
- 4 tablespoons olive oil;
- 1 large tablespoon Parmesan cheese;
- 1 large tablespoon ground almonds;
- Salt and pepper.
Preparation steps
I started by cutting the radishes, keeping only the tops (the green part):


Then, I rinsed them in water:

Next, I took the chopper and placed the tops inside to chop them:




And I cut the garlic clove into 3 pieces before placing it in the chopper to chop it:


Next, I added the chopped garlic to the radish tops:

Then, I added 1 large tablespoon of Parmesan cheese:

1 large tablespoon of ground almonds:

And finally, 4 tablespoons of olive oil:


I mixed everything together to make the radish top pesto đ




It's super quick to make if you have a chopper! It takes less than 10 minutes and can enhance most of your dishes. You can add it to pasta, rice, or to accompany potatoes or even meat... It's really good! đ
So if you eat radishes and don't want to eat the tops as is, don't hesitate to make pesto!

Nous avons donc utilisé les fanes des radis pour réaliser un pesto maison !
Et je vais vous partager la recette que jâai suivie pour remplir environ la moitiĂ© dâun pot de confiture đ
Les ingrédients

- Une quarantaine de fanes de radis
- 1 gousse dâail ;
- 4 cuillĂšres Ă soupe dâhuile dâolive ;
- 1 grosse cuillĂšre Ă soupe de parmesan ;
- 1 grosse cuillĂšre Ă soupe dâamandes en poudre ;
- Du sel et du poivre.
Les étapes de préparation
Jâai commencĂ© par couper les radis pour ne garder que les fanes (la partie verte) :


Puis, je les ai passĂ©es Ă lâeau :

Ensuite, jâai pris le hachoir et jâai placĂ© les fanes dedans pour les hacher :




Et jâai dĂ©coupĂ© la gousse dâail en 3 morceaux avant de la placer elle aussi dans le hachoir pour la hacher :


Jâai ensuite ajoutĂ© lâail hachĂ© aux fanes de radis :

Puis, jâai ajoutĂ© 1 grosse cuillĂšre Ă soupe de parmesan :

1 grosse cuillĂšre Ă soupe dâamandes en poudre :

Et enfin, 4 cuillĂšres Ă soupe dâhuile dâolive :


Jâai mĂ©langĂ© le tout pour obtenir le pesto de fane de radis đ




Câest ultra rapide Ă faire si vous avez un hachoir ! Ăa prend moins de 10 minutes et ça peut agrĂ©menter la plupart de vos plats, vous pouvez en mettre dans les pĂątes, dans le riz, pour accompagner des pommes de terre ou encore de la viande⊠Câest vraiment bon ! đ
Alors si vous mangez des radis et que vous ne souhaitez pas manger les fanes tel quel, nâhĂ©sitez pas Ă en faire du pesto !
