Normandy Apricot Tart // Tarte normande aux abricots [EN/FR]

This week, my parents came to spend their holidays with us, in our house. And I love cooking to please them!
So, I made a Normandy apricot tart đ
A Normandy tart, because we're true Normans (and foodies hahaha) and with apricots, because it's the season and it's a fruit I love!
In short, it's a fairly simple tart to make. You just need to allow a little resting time for the shortcrust pastry and about 40 minutes of baking time.
I mixed several recipes, so here's my version of the Normandy apricot tart for 8 people đ
Ingredients

For the shortcrust pastry, you will need:
- 250 grams of flour;
- 125 grams of sugar;
- 100 grams of butter;
- 1 pinch of salt;
- 1 egg.
For the filling:
- 100 grams of sugar;
- 60 grams of almond flour;
- 2 eggs;
- 20 cl of single cream;
- About ten apricots.
Preparation steps
đ Shortcrust pastry
First, I added the sugar to a bowl:

Then, I cracked the egg:

And I mixed everything together:

Next, I added the flour and mixed it with my fingers until it formed a "sandy" texture:



Then, I added the softened butter and kneaded it with my fingers until I obtained a smooth dough that could form a ball.



I let it rest under a cloth in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Then, I took it out of the fridge.
And I placed it in the pie dish, to spread it out and give it a nice shape.


And I pricked the bottom of the dough.

đ The Filling
For the filling, start by adding the sugar and eggs to a bowl and mixing everything with a whisk:


Next, I added the almond powder:

And I mixed well!
I also washed and cut the apricots into two pieces:

Then I poured the mixture into the tart shell:


Then, I added the apricots, cut side up:

đ Baking
To bake, I simply preheated my oven (yes, you're not dreaming, I did say oven, because we finally have a real oven!) to 180 degrees.
Then, I started baking for 40 minutes, until the tart was golden brown.

It's a very indulgent tart, which can be eaten warm or cold. In fact, you can even serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for even more flavor!

Jâai mĂ©langĂ© plusieurs recettes, alors voici ma version de la tarte normande aux abricots pour 8 personnes đ
Les ingrédients

Pour la pùte sablée, vous aurez besoin de :
- 250 grammes de farine ;
- 125 grammes de sucre ;
- 100 grammes de beurre ;
- 1 pincée de sel ;
- 1 oeuf.
Pour la garniture :
- 100 grammes de sucre ;
- 60 grammes de poudre dâamandes ;
- 2 oeufs ;
- 20 cl de crĂšme liquide ;
- Une dizaine dâabricots.
Les étapes de préparation
đ La pĂąte sablĂ©e
Jâai dâabord ajoutĂ© le sucre dans un saladier :

Ensuite, jâai ajoutĂ© la farine et jâai mĂ©langĂ© avec les doigts, de sorte Ă former âdu sableâ :



Puis, jâai ajoutĂ© le beurre mou et jâai malaxĂ© avec les doigts, jusquâĂ obtenir une pĂąte homogĂšne, qui peut former une boule.



Je lâai mise Ă reposer sous un torchon, dans le frigo, pendant environ 30 minutes.
Ensuite, je lâai sortie du frigo.
Et je lâai placĂ© dans le moule Ă tarte, pour lâĂ©taler et lui donner une jolie forme.

đ La garniture
Pour la garniture, il faut commencer par ajouter le sucre et les oeufs dans un saladier, et par mélanger le tout avec un fouet :

Puis, jâai ajoutĂ© les abricots avec le cĂŽtĂ© coupĂ© sur le dessus :

đ La cuisson
Pour la cuisson, jâai simplement fait prĂ©chauffer mon four (oui, oui, vous ne rĂȘvez pas, jâai bien dit four, car nous avons enfin un vrai four!) Ă 180 degrĂ©s.
Puis, jâai lancĂ© pour 40 minutes de cuisson, jusquâĂ ce que la tarte soit bien dorĂ©e.
Et voici le résultat :

Câest une tarte trĂšs gourmande, qui peut se manger tiĂšde ou froide. Dâailleurs, on peut mĂȘme la servir avec une boule de glace vanille pour plus de saveurs !
