Why listen?

I am in the middle about the vaccine, especially after the COVID-19 vaccine controversy. I know I hate some of the pharmacies that make use of the situation to make them rich, but at the same time I also understand that sometimes we need them to produce some of the medicine that we need now. I know some of you might already return to the traditional way, but we as a third world country who mostly do things in the traditional way has already benefited by some of the medicine that has been manufactured by the company, which show that some of the medicine and the vaccine might already have a great impact in helping the health of most of the people.

But then with the rise of social media and some podcasts, I found some interesting podcasts that talk about the negativity of the vaccine. But the problem is that they only spread fear, and then only cherry-pick for the sake of their intention of spreading news about the bad thing about the vaccine. I mean, let's say that a motorcycle crash or failure can result in life-threatening injuries, or even could take life, but we still use them every day as part of the technological advancement that helps human life, that is also the way I see the vaccine.

And what I don't understand is the fact that the speaker they invite to the podcast is an ex-health minister who was fired because of the corruption scandal that she was involved in during her reign. She had already served the jail time for her corruption, but still, I don't understand why people still invite her and ask for her advice. it is like asking the use of the lock to the thieft, which of course they will say that it useless, so that it will be easier for them to break in and to take the valuable thing in the house.
