The First HPUD of 2025 !

It's the first day of 2025, and the first Hive Power Up Day.

It's been stormy and raining outside, so I've mostly been doomscrolling Hive posts, even though I should really be working on a new website for my business.

But I still did a little power up :)

I powered up just 10 HIVE, which is less than I usually do, but it's mostly because I've blown all my fiat savings, so can't afford more liquid HIVE right now. That's life - I've known the car was coming up for replacement for a while, but it suddenly turned from a "yeah, should do that soon" to a "I need a car to drive that isn't going to terminally die in the next 50 miles".

But overall, 2024 was a year of hard work which I'm hoping will lay the foundations of 2025 being a lot less full of surprises !

December was a good month for me on Hive; despite being crazily busy with real-life work, I still earned 209HP and 63HBD, which are the second and third best montrhs respectively.

For the year as a whole, I added 5250 to my Hive Power, through a mix of rewards and powering up HIVE I'd bought with fiat. I'm hoping to do the same again in 2025, although ideally with a higher percentage of the gain coming from rewards.

I'm optimistic for 2025. The world will no doubt still feel like a game of Jumanji, but I feel more prepared for it now !
