Saturday Savers 2025 Progress Report - Week 36

It's Saturday again already ! I'm really not sure where the week went, but it's time for my #SaturdaySavers update.

Here's my table of progress for the week;

How Did The Week Go ?

This was a "new normal" kind of week. I posted a bit but not every day, and curated each day. Also, it was HPUD last Monday, so I powered up 50 HIVE.

I've managed to bring my comment rate up a bit, although not quite to the quantity I need it to be. But I've realised that no matter what I do, I just can't help myself when it comes to making comments, too many of them end up like essays or mini-posts !

So I've been doing something slightly new (at least for me) - rather than just working through the notifications from friends (which include a lot of Actifit and similar posts), I've started by having a look down the front end's standard feed, upvoting a few and doing in-depth comments on any that interest me. It's part cynical self-interest, because these tend to be popular posts so proper comments have a higher chance of further engagement and decent earnings. But it's also a great way to break out of the circle of people I'm following to find new content and creators to engage with.

With Tribe tokens, I'm continuing to sell off all but the dozen I'm most interested in and use the SWAP.HIVE gained to buy EDSI and BBHO. Which is why you'll see a jump in both of those two tokens this week ! It's just a shame that BBHO has dropped in price, but I'm hoping that it'll claw it's way back up as people see the long term value in the project.

So that's my week.... how was yours ?

If you're not familiar with SaturdaySavers, it's a fabulous initiative run by @shanibeer writing as @sally-saver on the @eddie-earner account, where we all support each other in getting to our savings goals.

If you are one of my friends reading this (or just someone who tripped over one of my posts), I really recommend this as a great community that's well worth joining.

I'm normally very disorganised about saving, and the support of the wonderful people in #SaturdaySavers has been invaluable in keeping me focused. I can honestly say that without it, my HP would probably be half what it is now.

So join ! You don't have to wait until the start of the year. The best time to start saving is ten years ago. The second best time is right now !
