April Fools' Day HPUD

It's the first of April. That makes it April Fools' Day, known in some parts of the world as All Fools Day. It is also Hive Power Up Day - HPUD.

I powered up 20 HIVE today. It's just a small amount, because right now I haven't got a lot of fiat spare to buy more (the real world is getting expensive !) Also, I need to save enough liquid HIVE to meet upcoming Hive SBI commitments.

My Favourite Hive Projects

Despite the price of HIVE being in a bit of a dip right now, along with pretty much every class of investments except gold, the Hive ecosystem remains a dynamic place with regular new projects appearing.

I've got a number of projects that I really like for various reasons. Some are old, and some are new. Here are a couple of them, in no particular order.

Apis Hive - https://apishive.blog/ created by @livinguktaiwan as a way to encourage redfish to grow their accounts and be a positive part of Hive. It's got strict entry requirements, but they aren't that hard to meet if you're using your account responsibly.

EDSI - the whole EDSI project by @eddie-earner is a mix of individual parts each of which has earning potential that stretches over the long term. The EDSI token is the core of it, generating a weekly drip of HIVE. EDSM and EDSMM are mining tokens which give EDSI rewards if you stake them. There is also delegation to @eds-vote which gives rewards in EDSI, and an HBD method (whose name I forget, sorry !). It all works in a kind of circular way to deliver consistent earnings with a decent APY.

The BBH Project - from @bradleyarrow - another great earner, and so much more ! It all started with a commitment to post daily on Hive and a tipping token, !BBH and then grew to be a witness node and a Hive Engine Witness node (vote for them if you haven't already !), and then a Hive Front End, https://www.thebbhproject.com/ which uses the BBHO token to provide it's own internal governance, voting power and rewards. So it's a community as well as a way to grow your HIVE account.

I know my focus is on growing earnings, but it's also about building the community and helping new Hivers find their way. What are your favourite projects ?

I didn't go out looking for April Fools' things this morning - the world is so crazy right now that we seem to get stories like that every day anyway.

But I'd love to hear if there are any particularly imaginative ones you've spotted.

I think my favourite so far was this one.... a little niche, but soooo many Easter Eggs and chuckles !
