Ethel wasn't sure if she was having a good day or not. Being jumped by an annoying tin-wrapped man on a horse was a bit of an irritant. But she was happy that he'd missed with his spike and she'd been able to fry him with a single breath. He'd been a surprisingly crunchy snack.

Now, she was sat at the entrance of her comfortable cave, using the splintered femur of the tin man's horse as a toothpick. But she had terrible indigestion. Her stomach grumbled and rumbled, and she just couldn't get comfortable.

As she shifted position to try to reduce the discomfort, she suddenly hiccupped, had a great big convulsion, and vomited up a pile of metal. Sitting on top of it was the tin man's shield, a nasty pointy thing with the acid and fire scarred remains of a bright red cross on it's surface.

Ethel felt much better now. She turned over and fell into a nice nap.

Meanwhile, in a castle many miles away, the King asked his chancellor, "Has anyone seen Sir George recently ?"
