ETHAN VAN SCIVER'S COMICSGATE

Comicsgate continues to lurch along at a somewhat slower pace than 2024. Through the first quarter or 2025 enthusiasm for Comicsgate projects appears to be waning, as lateness and continual feuds delivered through nightly Youtube programs turn off backers. The tracked crowdfunding projects from Comicsgate raised $24,415 for the week of March 21 - 28. 67% of that total that was raised by "Springball Terminal Monstrosity" a recently launched crowdfunded campaign by Shanth Enjeti on Indiegogo. Billy Tucci's "Shi: Gatecrasher" remains the number one best selling project by Comicsgate in 2025. Comicsgate projects have collected just shy of $400,00 year to date in 2025.

Kickstarter Top-20 Live Comic Projects by Funding

Van Sciver's Comicsgate fans often forget there is a world outside of Indiegogo, despite their top project being on Kickstarter. The current Top 20 Live projects on Kickstarter have currently raised $1,472,978. Erotic and horror themed projects continue to dominate Kickstarter's top 20. "PAPERFILMS TEAM-UP: PAINKILLER JANE & GI ZOMBIE" by Jimmy Palmioti is new on Kickstarter this week and close to breaking into the top 10.

The RIPPAVERSE

Eric July's Rippaverse Comicshas accelerated its shecdule for 2025 with new graphic novel campaigns coming approximately monthly or faster. In 2025 the Rippaverse has released Yaria #2, The Great War of Separation 1&2, Rippazine #3, Zalen #1, and ISOM #3. Through March 28 - Rippaverse has raised over $1,525,000 from multiple pre-order campaigns. In 2025 the Rippaverse has already shipped Bloodruth, Yaira #2, and the Great War of Separation #1 to backers. With more than a month left on the campaign for ISOM #3 it is almost certain to sell more than 10,000 copies.
