The four natural science museums of the University of Zurich have recently been united to form of the Natural History Museum of the University of Zurich, it was closed for a while for renovation. Here you can admire up close more than 1'500 animal species from Switzerland and around the world a beautiful world for young and old alike with insects, mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians.
If you have time you can also watch a movie.
The entry is free and the museum is very easy to reach, next to the Zurich main station with the student railroad to the ETH a few steps and you are there.
The visitors have the opportunnities to learn aboutthe animals diversity, evolution as well as ecology.
Daily you can rummage through the drawers of the Gwunder-Chaschte and find out more about dinosaurs.
